HYDRONIC System is the innovative evolution of the traditional
hydronic system.
The cooling or thermal energy required for climate control is
produced on a centralised level, then distributed – using chilled
or hot water as a vector – in the serviced rooms via specific air
treatment units and hydronic terminals, in partnership with the air
renewal and purification units.

HYDRONIC
Liquid chillers and heat pumps of the ELFOEnergy WSAT-XEE and WSAN-XEE
series are units designed for outdoor installation and best energy
efficiency in relation to their reduced size.
The ELFOEnergy series has been the turning point in the evolution of chillers.
Every unit has been conceived and made by applying state-of-the-art technology,
emphasising the qualities of EFFICIENCY, SELF-ADAPTATION and EASY
INSTALLATION that distinguish this product
Thanks to its constructional and electronic peculiarities, ELFOEnergy permits:
4high energy efficiency, in particular during partial-load operation, thanks to
the use of two compressors with different capacities that work
on a single refrigerant circuit;
4Eurovent energy efficiency classification class "A" in heating operation,
also in full load condition;
4adaptability of operating parameters to the load conditions of the connected
system, thereby optimising consumption, efficiency and working life of the
parts;
4easy, quick installation thanks to the standard hydronic group and the
factory test carried out prior to dispatch;
4installation of hydronic group with non-standard working head
pumps or with double pump.

The Eurovent A Class ELFOEnergy Large² water chillers and heat pumps provide
the highest seasonal efficiency. They're designed to be installed outdoor and feature
uneven scroll compressors mounted in the same circuit, electronic expansion valves and
high efficiency plate type evaporators.
HYDRONIC
ELFOEnergy Large² shows an unmatched seasonal efficiency ESEER and is available
in two versions: EXCELLENCE and PREMIUM. The standard version EXCELLENCE offers
the highest efficiency both at full and at part load. Also the PREMIUM version offers high
efficiency at part load but favour also the compact dimensions being therefore extremely
competitive.
Thanks to its features, ELFOEnergy Large² offers:
4self-adaptability in different load conditions, thanks to the availability
of several capacity steps and the adjustment logic developed for maximum
efficiency and minimum wear

seasonal efficiency. They're designed to be installed outdoor and feature uneven scroll
compressors mounted in the same circuit, electronic expansion valves and high efficiency
plate type evaporators.
HYDRONIC
SPINchiller² shows an unmatched seasonal efficiency ESEER and is available in two
versions: EXCELLENCE and PREMIUM. The standard version EXCELLENCE offers the
highest efficiency both at full and at part load. Also the PREMIUM version offers high
efficiency at part load but favour also the compact dimensions being therefore extremely

The SPINchiller series presents a new concept of chiller offering:
HYDRONIC
4EFFICIENCY that increases as the heating load decreases, while
guaranteeing maximum requested load when necessary. SPINchiller always
ensures maximum comfort with very high efficiency and consequently
considerable energy savings;
4a modular approach. Several basic units may be connected together to
form a single structure according to the required capacity. This allows high
production standardisation and therefore utmost operating RELIABILITY;
4simple unit-system combination, since these units are SELF-ADAPTING
to the characteristics of the actual system, thereby avoiding delicate, timeconsuming calibrations. Easy connection to the service system plus a simple
control system and easy maintenance drastically reduce work requiring
specialised personnel with consequent reduction in installation costs;
4extended operating limits to keep the system running, even under exceptional
start-up and load conditions;
4customisation of the unit, also for special requirements both in the civil
and technological air-conditioning sphere, thanks to the many available
optional accessories. The ECOBreeze and HydroPack accessories
in particular enhance the qualities of flexibility and energy efficiency. The
latter, for example, consistent with the concept of modularity, has two pumps
in parallel to monitor the system load variations better and to regulate the
water flow in the critical system starting (or restarting) stages so that outside
servicing is avoided.

The experience gained by Clivet in the high-capacity chiller sector has resulted
in the WDATA range, with the following features:
4EFFICIENCY - New high capacity screw compressors (over 1400 kW
with 2 compressors), water-cooled shell-and-tube exchangers specially
developed for the gas R-134a. The air-cooled exchangers have been
designed and made directly by CLIVET to ensure best adaptation to the
other refrigerant circuit parts. The compressors are managed with continual
adjustment of the capacity and are fitted with an economiser circuit for further
operating efficiency. In this way, the best result is achieved, highlighting the
performance and reducing costs; all the series is in the ENERGETIC CLASS
"A", with performances over 3.1;
4SELF-ADAPTATION - New, modern and intelligent electronic control
directly developed by Clivet. This customisation allows better management
of all the circuit components.
Continual adapting of chiller operating parameters to the load conditions of
the system in which it is installed reduces consumption and noise level, while

The experience gained by Clivet in the high-capacity chiller sector has resulted
in the WDATB range, with the following features:
4EFFICIENCY - New high capacity screw compressors (over 1380 kW
with 2 compressors), water-cooled shell-and-tube exchangers specially
developed for the gas R-134a. The air-cooled exchangers have been
designed and made directly by CLIVET to ensure best adaptation to the
other refrigerant circuit parts. The compressors are managed with continual
adjustment of the capacity and are fitted with an economiser circuit for further
operating efficiency. In this way, the best result is achieved, highlighting the
performance and reducing costs; all the series is in the ENERGETIC CLASS
"B"
4SELF-ADAPTATION - New, modern and intelligent electronic control
directly developed by Clivet. This customisation allows better management
of all the circuit components.
Continual adapting of chiller operating parameters to the load conditions of
the system in which it is installed reduces consumption and noise level, while
the working life of the parts increases;

4STURDINESS - Load-bearing frame in enamelled hot-galvanised sheet

With reference to the LN set-up, the fan speed of rotation is reduced
even more with a larger condensing section and the Kit for Low Outdoor
Temperature is standard supply with variable speed fans.

With reference to the LN version the fanspeed is reduced and the low

The air-cooled liquid chillers in the WDAT-HT range are the ideal solution in
torrid climates with high outdoor temperatures.
Equipped with high capacity twin screw compressors, R134a refrigerant and

with ducted condensation.
Thanks to his special design ELFOEnergy Duct Medium main features are:

connect easily the unit to the air ducts and to have high available head;
4High energy efficiency: ELFOEnergy Duct Medium besides being in
Eurovent efficiency class A at full load grants high seasonal power efficiency
thanks to the innovative cooling circuit optimized for partial load operation
and the DST (Dynamic Supply Temperature) return control logic;
4Easy installation: the units are very compact and are supplied with high
efficiency pumps on board; therefore the available space for other purposes

The SPINchiller series presents a new concept of chiller.
The WSA-SC units are designed for indoor installation with ducted discharge
for chilled water solutions. These units offer:
4EFFICIENCY that increases as the heating load decreases, while
guaranteeing maximum requested load when necessary. SPINchiller always
ensures maximum comfort with very high efficiency and consequently
considerable energy savings;
4simple unit-system combination, since these units are SELF-ADAPTING
to the characteristics of the actual system, thereby avoiding delicate,
time-consuming calibrations. Easy connection to the service system plus a
simple control system and easy maintenance of all the most sensitive parts
drastically reduce work requiring specialised personnel with consequent
reduction in installation costs;
4The particular abundance of optional accessories allows customisation of
the unit, also for special requirements both in the civil and technological
air-conditioning sphere. In particular the optional for the HydroPack water
circulating unit, consistent with the concept of modularity, has several pumps
in parallel (up to 3), to monitor the system load variations better and to
regulate the water flow in the critical system starting (or restarting) stages so
that outside servicing is avoided.
The innovative and hi-tech features of SPINchiller give this series a much higher
quality than can generally be found on the market today.

SPINSAVER is the high efficiency monobloc unit for centralised systems, able
to provide both simultaneous and independent heating and cooling.
SPINchiller technology offers high seasonal efficiency, using several Scroll
compressors per circuit and working together with the innovative built-in
automatic hydraulic switch system in SPINSAVER. In fact, hot and cold fluids
are produced simultaneously in all load conditions with maximum energy
recovery. The source is therefore only activated to exchange any excess
energy, with considerable savings in terms of extraction circuit pumping
energy. As a result, total primary energy savings can reach up to 50%.
Thanks to its effective production combination, SPINSAVER is therefore the
ideal solution for civil and industrial applications with centralised “four-pipe”

The water-water chillers and heat pumps with hermetic compressors in
the WRH and WRHN series are water-cooled units designed for indoor
installation. They may be used in modern civil and industrial service systems
because of their limited overall size and low noise levels. They only
require water and electrical connections, since the units are fully assembled
and tested in the factory. The WRHN units are fitted with reversing valve
on the refrigerant circuit, thereby considerably reducing installation and
maintenance costs.

SPINCHILLER
The WSH-XSC units belong to the SPINchiller family and therefore feature
high energy efficiency, self-adaptation and reliability.
HYDRONIC
4Compactness: when designing the unit special attention was paid to
reducing the dimensions of the front as much as possible. The width in the
units up to 560 kW capacity has been reduced to just 85 cm so that they
can pass through normal doorways.
4Special attention has been paid to making connection to the service system
easy so that work requiring specialised personnel is drastically reduced
thereby allowing installation costs to be cut considerably. This same policy
ensured that attention was paid to easiness of controls and maintenance on
all the most sensitive parts.
4EFFICIENCY that increases as the heating load decreases, while
guaranteeing maximum requested load when necessary. SPINchiller always
ensures maximum comfort with very high efficiency and consequently
considerable energy savings;
4The particular abundance of optional accessories allows customisation of
the unit, also for special requirements both in the civil and technological
air-conditioning sphere. In particular the optional for the HydroPack water
circulating unit, consistent with the concept of modularity, has several pumps
in parallel (up to 3), to monitor the system load variations better and to
regulate the water flow in the critical system starting (or restarting) stages so
that outside servicing is avoided.
The innovative and hi-tech features of SPINchiller give this series a much higher
quality than can generally be found on the market today.
These indoor water-cooled units may be combined with the dry coolers of the
REM series.

The experience gained by Clivet in the high-capacity chiller sector has resulted
in the WDH series, with the following features:
4EFFICIENCY - Eurovent energy efficiency Class A and B thanks to
the new high capacity screw compressors and to the shell-and-tube
exchangers specially developed for the gas R-134a: the best compromise
to boost efficiency while limiting costs. The compressors are managed with
continuous adjustment of the capacity. The heat exchangers are specifically
sized for best adaptation to the other parts of the refrigerant circuit. The latter
is fitted with an economiser exchanger for further operating efficiency;
4SELF-ADAPTATION - New, modern and intelligent electronic control
directly developed by Clivet. This customisation allows better management
of all the circuit components.
Continual adapting of chiller operating parameters to the load conditions of
the system in which it is installed reduces consumption while the working life
of the parts increases;
4STURDINESS - Load-bearing frame in enamelled hot-galvanised sheet
metal with semi-hermetic double-screw compressors and shell-and-tube
evaporator ensuring reliability and constant performance.

The remote air-cooled condensers in the CE series are designed for connecting
to the indoor evaporating units of the ME.
They are available in three soundproofing versions: standard (ST), low
noise (LN) and extra low noise (EN), to satisfy even the severest of
requirements in terms of noise limits.
They are fitted with axial-flow fans with open inlet and outlet, suitable for
installation outdoors, with large exchange surfaces and fan speed adjustment
(optional) to optimise the cooling performance of the coupled units.

The MSE-SC units belong to the SPINchiller family and therefore feature
high energy efficiency, self-adaptation and reliability.
They are conderserless units that may be combined with the remote condensers
of the CEM series. Thanks to indoor installation and remote dispersal of heat
into the ambient air, the noise may be transferred to where it causes less
disturbance.
4Compactness: the width in the units up to 500 kW capacity has been
reduced to just 85 cm so that they can pass through normal doorways.
4Easy connection to the service system plus a simple control system and
easy maintenance drastically reduce work requiring specialised personnel
and therefore installation costs.
4EFFICIENCY that increases as the heating load decreases, while
guaranteeing maximum requested load when necessary.

4The particular abundance of optional accessories allows customisation of
the unit, also for special requirements both in the civil and technological
air-conditioning sphere. In particular the optional for the HydroPack water

HYDRONIC
The liquid chillers in the MDE range are units for indoor installation and are
ideal in combination with the remote condensers in the CEM range. They
are particularly suited in civil and industrial sector systems in the following
applications:
4Buildings with architectural value - The chiller is normally installed
in a service room and therefore completely concealed from sight, whereas
the outdoor exchange section can be positioned remotely.
4Extremely low noise emission - Separated from the chiller, the
outdoor exchange section can be selected and sized as required to reduce
noise emission.
4Particularly severe climates - The two section solution makes it
possible to avoid having an outdoor water system and therefore having
to perform the winter emptying needed to protect it against freezing. With
MDE, the pipes between the two sections contain a refrigerant fluid and not
water.
The energy efficiency of the entire range is particularly high: all sizes use two
compact two screw semi-hermetic compressors with continuous adjustment of
the supplied cooling capacity. The shell and tube evaporators are specifically
optimised to operate with ecological R134a refrigerant fluid and are provided
with a standard electronic expansion valve.
The MDE units are supplied standard with a double acting economiser, which
further improves performance levels: The refrigerant supercooling involves
greater cooling capacity, and injecting the refrigerant in a gaseous state into
the compressor involves lower consumption.

The CEM remote condensers may be combined with all the remote condenser
liquid chillers and are made so as to occupy the least space possible.
Remote condensation means that noise can be transferred to where it causes
least disturbance, thereby achieving a highly appreciable working wellbeing.
They are available in various soundproofing configurations and with various
exchanger coils for best adaptation to their surroundings.
Use of the condensation control gives the CEM remote condensers, latent load
permitting, the extra possibility of obtaining considerably lower noise levels
than a packaged chiller.
Great care has been taken over all the finishes to ensure maximum resistance
to weathering even under extreme conditions of use.

The ELFOSpace BOX2 terminal unit has been designed for installation in
suspended ceilings without requiring any extra part for operation. The unit has
an intake grille and four-way outlet with adjustable diffuser flaps for changing
airflow direction.
The ELFOSpace BOX2 is therefore suited for use in environments such as
shops, restaurants, hotels and gyms, where the excellent outflowing air control
makes them ideal air-conditioning units:

HYDRONIC
The ELFODuct CFD units are ideal air-treatment terminal units for installations
where ducted air distribution is necessary.
The units are designed for installation in suspended ceilings and are
distinguished by their compactness and extremely low noise levels
because they are fitted with packaged centrifugal fans, that is, every
impeller has its own external rotor motor on rubber antivibration mounts. When
ductwork is extensive this solution ensures that the fan impeller is not overhung
and therefore produces no vibrations, which would make the environment
noisy.
The 7-11-15-21 sizes may be supplied in a shorter version for space
saving purposes.
The main features are:

the electronic control set-up for connection to ELFOControl or general
supervisors;
