ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is one of the leading Universities

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTS
Department of Chemistry under the School of Science & Humanities was
established in 1985. Apart from catering to the engineering courses, the Department
offers M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D., programs. The faculty members are highly qualified and
are involved in teaching and research. The fields of interest include Nanoscience and
Nanotechnology, Polymers, Material science, Green Chemistry, Organic synthesis and
Coordination Chemistry.
CENCON is established in collaboration with Quantum-Functional Research
Centre of Dongguk University, Korea with an objective to promote Basic and Applied
Research, develop products and provide consultancy to the industry in different areas,
such as, Clean Energy, Nano-Composites, Non-Volatile Memories, LED, UID exploring
the concept of Nano Convergence,The University has started M.Tech.(Nanotechnology)
through CENCON, with latest instruments and state-of-art facilities.
LOCATION
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is located at Padur about 22kms,
south of Chennai on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (Old Mahabalipuram Road) amidst a lush green
stretch of landsite. The University is well connected to the city by public transport buses.
Apart from this, the University operates its own fleet of transport for the convenience of
students and staff members.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts are invited for oral/poster presentations. One page abstract should
be submitted as msword file (A4 size with normal margin). The text: Times New
Roman, 12 point. (Title:14 point bold), Authors name: 12 point bold; affiliation: 12
point, email address and phone number:12 point italics. The file should be named as
“authorname.doc”. References should be cited in parentheses [ ] in text. Abstracts
should be mailed to ncrasm2016@gmail.com on or before 30th October 2015.
Registration can be made after the acceptance of Abstract.
FULL-PAPER SUBMISSION
Once the Abstract is accepted, the author has to submit the full-paper.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE
The objective of this conference is to create awareness among researchers from
