EPIC Anglux AR/4 is a 4” aperture accent light suitable for insulation contact (IC) and certified airtight under ASTM E283. The fixture is designed
for a 12-volt, 50-watt maximum, quartz halogen Sylvania AR–70 lamp.
The integral electronic 120-volt transformer delivers 11.8 volts, to lengthen
lamp life. A Solite prismatic lens is included. Conical reflector minimizes
aperture brightness. Fixture has a 0– 35° angular lamp adjustment with a
362° horizontal rotation. Recess depth is 10”.
The fixture provides easy one-finger adjustment of both tilt and rotation
after lamping. Once focused, the adjustment can be locked in place by
means of two very accessible thumb screws.
EPIC Anglux AR/4 accepts one or two of nine available Optical Accessories
including lenses, color filters and a UV filter.
Reflectors are available in three clear natural aluminum finishes –– semispecular (C), slightly diffuse (V) or fully diffuse (EC) –– as well as champagne
gold or black Alzak®. Other reflector finishes are available on special
order. A LightPlate™ Accent Spot or Accent Slot decorative trim may be
ordered instead of a reflector.

EPIC Anglux AR/4 includes a pair of residential mounting bars extendable
to 20” and designed for use in wood joists.

Fixture is recommended for accent lighting in residences and other installations
where insulation is specified or likely to be retrofit into the ceiling plenum.
Fixture is
listed for direct contact with insulation; certified airtight under
ASTM E283; suitable for damp location. Fixture includes an integral electronic
120-volt transformer protected by a thermal auto-reset switch. Fixture is
prewired with thermal protector, suitable for use in a fire rated ceiling and
approved for ten #12 wire

Removal of the reflector allows access to
the transformer and
junction box.
Standard reflector flange continues reflector finish. White painted flanges and custom painted
flanges are available on special order. Add WF (white flange) or CCF (custom color flange).
