Industrial Engineering
1. Training Objective
The profession cultivates advanced talents who master modern manufacturing
engineering technology and modern management science theories, which have solid
mathematical fundamental theories and good computer operating ability, who can make
good use of professional modern industrial engineering knowledge, and analyze, program,
design, evaluate and manage complicated manufacturing system and service system.
Students in the major mainly study industrial engineering-related basic theories of
modern manufacturing engineering techniques, computer and information technology,
management science, business and producing management, basic knowledge of system
engineering, operational research, human factor engineering. They will be given basic
training of analyzing and solving practical problems using industrial engineering theories
and methods. They will master basic abilities of modern manufacturing technology and
producing management, and master primary abilities of practical management system
developing and designing.
