long life. Strobe lights are available for use in UL1971 Hearing Impaired applications. To

Federal Signal’s brightest and most compact strobe light, this
supervised FireBall® emits a powerful "lightning bolt" flash of light.
Approximately five inches tall and four inches in diameter and
rated at 300 effective candela, the FB24STHI is economical and
effective. The Fireball is available in 24VDC, this model is UL
Listed and CSFM Approved.
The FB24PSTHI features a voltage in-rush limiting PCB design that
provides greater compatibility with control systems and panels
and less electrical interference with in-rush sensitive devices.
The FB24STHI features a clear dome that twists off easily for
quick dome and lamp replacements. The newly redesigned base
features an integrated 1/2" pipe mount boss as well as the three
holes required for surface mount configurations. Black epoxy
paint is electrostatically applied to the base for superior corrosion
resistance. The Fireball dome and base design provides a
watertight, dust-tight and corrosion resistant Type 4X rating.
The Fireball FB24STHI contains a supervisory diode and four wire
leads, for use in fire alarm applications. This strobe is UL 1971
listed, for hearing impaired applications.

crisp, clear tones in supervised alarm notification systems. They are compatible with fire

Model FHEX
The Federal Signal Model FHEX Explosion Proof Vibrating
Horn produces a loud and distinctive tone by the electromechanical vibration of a diaphragm. This horn is
designed for use in alarm notification systems and is compatible with fire alarm and suppression supervised control panels and power boosters.
The Model FHEX operates on 24VDC and produces a very
loud 100dB at ten feet (110dB at one meter).

The RMS series explosion proof, weather proof pull
stations are constructed of the finest materials and
workmanship available. Made of high strength metal
die-cast alloy.
The RMS series explosion proof, weather proof pull
stations come standard with options similar devices
offer separately. A UL rating of Class I group B
(hydrogen) C&D, class II groups E,F,G, class III and
an outdoor rating of type 4X, these stations offer
unmatched placement flexibility. Terminal block connections, D.P.D.T. contacts rated at 10 amps
120/250VAC, meets most electrical requirements for
either indoor or outdoor applications.
Customizing your RMS-EXP pull station to meet your exact
application requirements is one more example of the
flexibility of the RMS-EXP series. Optionally offered is the
key reset (many key codes available ), Lift & Pull Dual Action cover ( LP ), and break glass adapter with solid brass
hammer and chain. ( Break glass adaptor cover design allows glass to fall out before activating for safety).
The RMS-EXP series pull stations are also offered in special colors, Orange, Blue, Green, Yellow are a few examples. Add an LP cover with your custom message in any
language, silk screened in your specified color. Engraving
directly on the pull station is also offered, allowing the device to be customized for each of your applications

NAC Expander/Power Supply
The Honeywell HPFF12(E) and HPFF12CM(E) are Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC) Expander Power Supplies
designed to extend the power capabilities of existing NACs
and provide power for auxiliary devices. The HPFF12 and
HPFF12CM connects to any 12 or 24V Fire Alarm Control
Panel (FACP) or operates stand-alone.

Description
They provide regulated and filtered 24VDC power to four
NAC's and an auxiliary output. The NAC outputs are rated at
3.0 amps each and the auxiliary output is rated at 2.0 amps
(this output is continuously supplied, even in alarm, and therefore must be taken into account for power supply loading and
battery size calculations). The combined output cannot exceed
12.0 amps.
The HPFF12 and HPFF12CM provide independent output circuit supervision so in the event of a NAC fault they can notify
the attached FACP. In addition they have a trouble memory
feature that displays past troubles (by NAC) for rapid diagnostics. Synchronization is built in for five appliance brands.
The HPFF12 and HPFF12CM have two fully independent
supervised initiating circuits that can be used for synchronized
strobes and coded horns. Their NAC outputs may be configured as any of the following:
• four Class B (Style Y)
• two Class A (Style Z)
• two Class B and one Class A
• four Class A with the optional HPP31076 Class A adapter
These power supplies contain an internal Battery charger
capable of charging up to 26.0 amp-hour (AH) batteries.
HPFF12CM:
Three modules in EQBB-D4
The HPFF12 is mounted in a lockable wall cabinet that can
accommodate up to two 18AH batteries. The HPFF12CM is
designed to mount in Honeywell’s large equipment enclosure
(EQBB-D4; order separately). Up to three HPFF12CM supplies can be mounted in a D-sized EQ cabinet in positions 2, 3,
and 4. Each HPFF12CM can accommodate two 12AH batteries.
One of the most challenging aspects of a retrofit application is
locating the existing End-of-Line (EOL) resistor. In these applications that have EOL values other than the 3.9k normally
used with the HPFF12, a single resistor matching the existing
EOL can be used as a reference for all the outputs. This feature speeds installation and system checkout because the
actual EOL does not need to be located and changed in the
circuit. The reference resistor must be within the range of 1.9k
to 25k.

NOTE: 4 separate programming resistors for the HPFF12 are provided in the hardware kit shipped with each HPFF12(E) and
HPFF12CM(E). They are 3.9K (5 of these are provided, need only
1 for programming), 2.2K (1 each), 4.7K (1 each) and 10K (1 each)

• The AL642ULADA, AL842ULADA and AL1042ULADA are extremely cost
effective voltage regulated remote NAC Power Extenders. They may be
connected to any 12 or 24 volt Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). Primary
applications include Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC) expansion
(supports ADA requirements) and will provide auxiliary power to support
