CAMDEN MEDICAL CENTER
Completed: August 2011
Contract Price: $330,000
OVERVIEW:
The Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project at the
Camden Medical complex was a ground breaking
historical district installation for San Antonio.
Integrating solar into the classic and protected
vision of the district had always been a challenge
for the architectural committee overseeing the
adoption of solar into the old neighborhoods.
Native commissioned one of the first commercial
installations in the historical district and provided a
full view installation for the patients and staff of
Camden Medical to see.

DELL’S CHILDRENS MEDICAL CENTER
Completed: September 2013
Contract Price: $300,000
OVERVIEW:
The Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project at Dell Children’s Medical Center
of Central Texas, part of the Seton Family of Hospitals, is a great
example of an organization pushing to be as sustainable and green as
possible.
DESIGN:
The first phase of a two phase installation was a 26.32 kW solar array
mounted on the newly constructed east wing of the medical complex.
During construction of the new wing, a temporary 3 kW solar array was
mounted at the construction staging area to help offset electricity
consumption during construction. The second phase of the installation
was a 36.96 kW installation and was completed September of 2013.

ART MUSEUM OF SOUTH TEXAS
Completed: August 2010
Contract Price: $100,000
OVERVIEW:
The Solar Photovoltaic (PV) project at the Art Museum of South Texas
is a 26 kW solar array that will generate approximately 32,000 kWh
annually. The funding for this solar project was donated by the Green
Mountain Energy Sun Club, a non-profit organization funding the
installation of solar PV systems around the state of Texas. The museum
building is considered by many an architectural work of art, so
designing a solar panel array that would complement the existing look
of the structure was of highest importance. The resulting 108 solar
panel design blends well with the roof line of the museum auditorium
and provides visitors and staff a perfect view of the solar array as they
approach the building from the front entrance.

We offer a 100% energy performance guarantee.
How it works.
 SolarCity uses industry-standard modeling data
and tools to create an energy production
estimate based on the as-built conditions of
each PV system after construction is complete.
 Throughout the contract term, we will monitor
the system to verify whether it is operating
properly.
 At every 5-year interval, referred to as a “trueup term”, SolarCity will compare expected vs.
actual production without weather adjustment.
 SolarCity will refund any production shortfalls
on a $/kWh basis at a rate agreed to in the
Performance Guarantee contract.

DemandLogic is a PV + Battery solution designed to offset
peak demand and reduce high demand charges.
Storage can save up to 20% on demand charges.
Before
After
Demand charges are often a significant portion of your monthly
bill. DemandLogic addresses peak demand charges beyond those
that a typical PV system is designed to meet.
Battery systems dynamically save money 24/7.
Batteries are charged during off-peak times, either by
daytime solar power or cheap nighttime grid power, and
discharged during peak events to shave your demand charges.
DemandLogic easily integrates Storage + PV.
Our integrated system intelligently balances the battery and PV
system so you don’t have to, and works 24/7 to save you money
on energy ($/kWh) and demand ($/kW).
Backup systems can protect you from outages.
The optional DemandLogic backup system can keep high-priority
critical systems running during power failures, and your solar
array can recharge the battery system during longer outages.

DemandLogic monitors your electricity usage throughout
the day and meets your energy needs during peak demand.
DemandLogic represents years of development and refinement.
We spent four years creating a flexible, intelligent and automated turnkey software
platform that integrates and balances world-class solar PV and battery technology.
Today, we use lithium-ion batteries because they’re the most reliable and economical.
