Range 1.2 location of workplace, route and reliable transport options, time required for travel, payment for travel. Prior knowledge of the upcoming workplace environment is indicated. Range includes but is not limited to – name of the person to whom one initially reports. 1.3 Clothing, footwear and/or equipment required are identified in terms of meeting workplace requirements. 1.4 Documentation required to be presented to the employer is assembled. Range 1.5 documentation may include but is not limited to – bank account number, IRD number, birth certificate or other form of identification, evidence of qualification(s). An agreement regarding terms of employment is confirmed. Range the job title and the nature of work, the position description, conditions of employment including pay and hours of work. Outcome 2 Demonstrate knowledge of the new workplace. Evidence requirements 2.1 Layout of the workplace is described. Range 2.2 Facilities and procedures fundamental to work activity, health, and safety are identified. Range 2.3 may include but is not limited to – workspace; offices; storage of tools, materials, equipment, vehicles. any two facilities of – cafeteria, sick bay, toilets, first aid cabinet, civil defence cabinet; procedures must include but are not limited to – safety devices and exits, health and safety systems, emergency procedures. Any immediate supervisors and team leaders are identified by name, title, and role.
