Effective Tuesday, August 25 Parking Garage For the next few weeks, all garage monthly parkers will need to continue to enter the premises using the South end garage. Starting this week, additional reshoring for a small tree well is being installed on the back ramp from G3 to G5 under the 100 building. See the attached map for areas currently blocked in the garage. The garage is continuing to be monitored daily for open spaces and we have had an average of 100 available spaces each day. We anticipate the North helical ramp in the Retail garage to be reopened mid-September while simultaneously doing a switch over of reshoring in the Office Tower garage. This switch over will block the remaining ramp from G3 to G5; however, it will open up the drive cut thru lanes for easier access between levels and additional parking spaces. Retail Area The concrete for the tree wells and center water feature have been poured for the retail court area. This is currently on schedule to be complete end of October. The construction walls around the area have been lowered for easy viewing. Be sure to go over and check it out. Retail Exterior East Side The Maple Ave side of retail in front of The Capital Grille is still closed for work. This is scheduled to be complete late October. Surface is being prepped for water proofing this week and for the tree wells to be poured. Motor Court East Side Tree wells continue to be cut in the east side of the motor court. Working on surface waterproofing along with the pouring of a sidewalk in front of the 100 building and along side of Starbucks. This is on schedule to complete late October. Please continue to follow signage for building exits. This does not affect visitor parking. There are two options to enter the garage from the south end. 1. At the corner of McKinney Ave and Maple Ave by the entrance in front of the old Arcodoro location. 2. Off Pearl St. just north of McKinney Ave in front of the 200 building. Visitors will continue to enter and exit as normal. To exit the garage, you will need to use the South exit ramp, access to Maple/Pearl St., or follow a new route that will allow you to use the Maple and Cedar Springs exits after 4 p.m. Please follow new exit signage placed throughtout the garage for all exit options. To help with traffic flow, exit gates will be raised in the evenings to avoid congestion. Shoring in the Garage Due to the installation of trees wells, extra shoring is being installed in the garage to support the weight of the scaffolding being used on the G1 level. This is done for an extra safety precaution and there is no reason for concern. Each area of shoring is temporary and will be moved approximately every 30 days until complete. Effective Monday, April 6 The North Side of the 100 Building lobby doors will be locked The 100 Building lobby doors will be locked and remained locked during the duration of construction. However, they will unlock automatically in case of an emergency. Please access the Hotel, Gourmet Restaurant and Starbucks via the 200 Building North lobby, west wing door. This will remain closed for approximately 6 months. North Ramps outside Stanley Korshak Remains Closed All Retail parkers will need to enter and exit the Retail garage via Maple Ave. or Cedar Springs. Additional police officers have been added in the afternoon to assist with traffic. Visitor parking remains available in the Retail parking area but only accessible from the Maple Ave. or Cedar Springs entrances. The area outside Palomino, along Cedar Springs, remains under construction. All valet continues to be available at The Capital Grille or Rosewood Crescent Hotel.
