Are you an overseas electrician who needs to get registered to
work in New Zealand? A local electrician who needs to renew
your Electrical Practising License? Or are you preparing for
Electrical Registration and need to brush up on all the theory
and regulations?
These short Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB)
approved courses will get you sorted.
Electrical Competence Programme Every New Zealand electrician has to attend a course like this
every 24 months to renew their Electrical Practising Licence.
Participants are offered two modules – Electrical Safety and
Testing (3 hours) or the First Aid / CPR Refresher (2 hours).
Anyone with a current First Aid / CPR certificate, completed in
the past two years, only needs to complete the Electrical Safety
and Testing module.

Electrical Practical Skills
A full-time block course held over five days; attendance is vital
for anyone with overseas electrical qualifications who needs
EWRB registration to work in New Zealand.
With two course dates to choose from, our tutors ensure
participants meet all three stages of the practical skills
requirements for NZ registration.
Electrician Theory Refresher
Preparing to sit the EWRB Electrical Registration exam? This
three day course will help you brush up on your electrical theory
knowledge so you can pass with flying colours.
With two course dates to choose from, a specialised tutor will
refine your ‘on the job’ theoretical knowledge to ensure it meets
the latest examination requirements.
Electrician Regulations Refresher If you already have a solid understanding of the theoretical
aspect of the EWRB exam, but need to revise the latest standards
and regulations, then this three day course is ideal for you.
With two course dates to choose from, a specialised tutor will
consolidate your ‘on the job’ knowledge with specific regulations
knowledge to help you meet examination requirements.
