Electrical Competence Programme Every New Zealand electrician has to attend a course like this every 24 months to renew their Electrical Practising Licence. Participants are offered two modules – Electrical Safety and Testing (3 hours) or the First Aid / CPR Refresher (2 hours). Anyone with a current First Aid / CPR certificate, completed in the past two years, only needs to complete the Electrical Safety and Testing module. *Refer to boppoly.ac.nz for full information Electrical Practical Skills A full-time block course held over five days; attendance is vital for anyone with overseas electrical qualifications who needs EWRB registration to work in New Zealand.
