The warranties are given in years
1. The warranty applies to films that are exposed
at a vertical angle (defined as 90°+/-10°). A
significant decrease in durability may be
experienced if films are exposed other than
vertical. Such non-vertical applications must be
on a test and approval basis to determine
acceptability. 3M does not warrant non-vertical
exposures.
2. Unprinted 3M™ Scotchcal™ Film 3670 white
has a tendency to chalk upon exterior exposure.
Film intended for use on signs where cleaning is
not practical must be clear coated with 3M™
Screen Print Clear 1920DR or 9720 UV.
When using any equipment, always follow the
manufacturer's instructions for safe operation.

• Unprocessed film has a shelf life of 2 years after
receipt from 3M. Processed film has a shelf life
of 1 year. However, the total shelf life of a
graphic before and after processing cannot
exceed 2 years.
• Store the film in a clean, dry area in the original
container.
• Store the film out of direct sunlight and at less
than 27°C (80°F).
• Ship the finished graphic lying flat or roll the
graphic. For rolling, roll film side out onto a
core that is 13 cm (5 inches) in diameter or
larger. These methods help prevent the liner and
premask from wrinkling or popping off.
