Liability disclaimer and declaration of assumption of risk

After having carefully read the regulations of the event and having acknowledged the difficulties of the course, and
being aware of the risks to personal safety connected with the race, by signing this document I declare that:
1. I shall take with me, for the entire duration of the race, all of the mandatory equipment and I shall exonerate
the organizers in the event of any accident or illness resulting from any lack of the mandatory equipment;
2. I am aware that the mandatory equipment is defined as the following items:
•
running shoes between the categories A2 and A5 (intermediate-> trail)
•
rucksack or waist bag
•
Identity card
•
water bottle or camel bag
•
cup or other container suitable for drinking at the refreshment points
•
food supplies
•
two working headlamps with spare batteries
•
survival blanket
•
whistle
•
elastic adhesive bandage that can be used as a dressing
•
Goretex® (or similar) jacket with hood designed to withstand bad weather conditions at high altitude
•
running trousers or leggings (at least to below the knee)
•
overtrousers
•
long sleeved microfleece
•
hat or bandana
•
gloves and waterproof overgloves
•
mobile phone
•
altimeter
3. I accept that checks for the mandatory equipment will be performed at any time during the race and I am
aware that the lack of any of the mandatory equipment amongst the gear that I am carrying during the race
can lead to my disqualification and I further accept the final judgment of the members of the race
organization that are responsible for these checks;
4. I exonerate the race organizer, Courmayeur Trailers, the race director and the course director from any
responsibility for damages to property and persons, including personal injury and/or death.
5. Furthermore I declare that I shall hold all and exclusive responsibility for any damage that I may cause to
third parties or to third party properties.
I declare on my honor that:

I do not use doping substances;
•
That I am aware of the length and of the specificity of the event which takes place in the mountains, in
possible difficult climatic conditions (nighttime, cold, wind, rain or snow), and that under these conditions it is
necessary to have an appropriate level of training and a real ability to be independent and that I have such
training and ability
•
I am informed of the medical counter-indications that concern me and that, as a result, I free the organization
from any type of responsibility concerning medical problems that I could have during the race.
I authorize ASD Courmayeur Trailers to treat my personal data exclusively for purposes that are instrumental to its
activity and based on principles of honesty and lawfulness in accordance with Italian Law 675 of the 31/12/1996. The
data cannot be transferred to any other body. It is understood that at any time I can ask for removal of my data. I
expressly renounce any claim to any copyright on pictures taken during the race and in addition I renounce any
appeal against the organizer and its authorized partners for the use of my image.
