ETFO has an FNMI Online Book Club available for members. This initiative provides
members a chance to come together to build on their knowledge and understanding
of Aboriginal peoples’ diverse cultural perspectives through the use of children’s
books, adult literature and culturally relevant online resources. Members engaged in
this welcoming online learning environment will be able to infuse their learning
into their classroom practice. The book club is structured as four weekly online
sessions, approximately two hours in length and feature small group sizes.
Participants are expected to log in for an hour or two each week, read postings and
engage in online threaded discussions, share ideas and make professional
connections to the content. Registration is limited to 20 participants and is on a firstcome, first-served basis.

system and explore concepts of reconciliation and what that looks
like for educators. Children’s and adult literature as well as relevant
