DXCBZ SERIES AIR CONDITIONING DESCRIPCION Description The equipment described in this document are outdoor units for air to air heat pumps (DXCBZ series). These units are designed to operate together with any indoor unit of our manufacture of equivalent capacity, although the basic set is with indoor units from FTBZ series. Cabinet Made of high quality galvanized steel plate, finished with electrostatically applied and oven polymerized polyester powder for optimal resistance in outdoor conditions. Compressor and side containing refrigerant parts is lined with thermo-acoustic insulation. Refrigerant Circuit Made of refrigeration grade copper tubing, cleansed and dehydrated, incorporates Schrader Valves for easy access, vacuum, refrigerant charging and maintenance. Expansion made by means of a restrictor. Suction accumulator to protect compressor against liquid refrigerant and to facilitate oil recovery. Reversing valve Solenoid operated Schräder valves. Brazing is made with silver alloy soldering. Units are supplied with flare valves and R407c charge (5m). Compressors Compressor is rotary or Scroll type depending upon model, with inherent thermal protection and the corresponding oil charge. Compressor is mounted on the base (chassis) by means of vibration absorbers and is acoustically insulated. All this guarantees a silent, vibration free operation. Compressor also incorporates crankcase heater. Heat Exchangers Made of coated (blue) aluminium fins and copper tubing 3/8”, mechanically expanded and of high heat exchange efficiency. Fans Propeller type, direct drive with single phase motor, 6 & 8 pole depending on models. One fan up to model 351, two fans for the rest of models (371 up to 501). Fans have low noise levels and incorporate pre-lubricated bearings that are statically and dynamically balanced. Control System (DXCBZ with FTBZ) Contactor for compressor and fan motors. The basic standard control system for the units is a wired, wall-mounted controller (or infrared) featuring all the necessary functions including programming for a week. The electronic board is incorporated in the indoor unit and allows for high/low pressure controls, compressor time delay, frost-protection in indoor unit, defrost system, on-off outdoor fan for low ambient operation, etc… Options – Head pressure control (fan speed control) for operation at low ambient temperatures (below 18ºC). – Controller system by conventional room thermostat, one stage cooling / one stage heating. – Infrared remote controller (with up to three sensors). DXCZ SERIES AIR CONDITIONING DESCRIPTION Description The equipment described in this document are condensing units, air cooled condenser, cooling only (DXCZ series). These units are designed to operate together with any indoor unit of our manufacture of equivalent capacities. Although the basic set is with indoor unit from FTBZ series. Cabinet Made of high quality galvanized steel plate, finished with electrostatically applied and oven polymerized polyester powder for optimal resistance in outdoor conditions. The compressor and the side containing refrigerant parts is lined with thermo-acoustic insulation. Refrigerant Circuit Made of high grade refrigerant copper tubing, clean and dehydrated, incorporates Schräder valves for easy access, vacuum, refrigerant charging and maintenance. Brazing is made with silver alloy soldering. Units are supplied with flare valves and R407c charge (5m). Control System (DXCBZ with FTBZ) Contactor for compressor and fan motors. Standard system for the complete (evaporator and condenser) is a wired, wallmounted controller featuring all the necessary functions including possibility of programming for a week. The electronic plate is incorporated in the indoor unit and it allows for high/low pressure controls, compressor time delay, anti-freeze of evaporating coil, on-off outdoor fan for low ambient operation, etc… Options – Head pressure control (fan speed control) for operation at low ambient temperatures (below 18ºC). – Controller system by conventional room thermostat. – Infrared remote controller (with up to three sensors). Compressors Compressors are rotary or Scroll type depending upon models, with inherent thermal protection and the corresponding oil charge. Compressor is mounted on the basis (chassis) by means of vibration absorbers and it is acoustically insulated. All this guarantees a silent and vibration free operation. Compressor also incorporates crankcase heater. Heat Exchangers Made of coated (blue) aluminium fins and copper tubing 3/8”, mechanically expanded and of high heat exchange efficiency. Fans Propeller type, direct drive with single phase motor, 6 & 8 pole depending on models. One fan up to model 351, two fans for the rest of models (371 up to 721). Fans are of low noise level and they incorporate pre-lubricated bearings and are statically and dynamically balanced OPERATION LIMITS TEMP. SERIES FTBZ AIR CONDITIONING DESCRIPTION General Series FTBZ are ductable DX indoor units, cooling only or heat pump. Shallow design suitable for ceiling void location. Units have been developed to operate together with the DXCZ, DXCBZ series outdoor units but may be matched to other outdoor units of our manufacture of equivalent capacity. Units may be used to operate with free air discharge by means of a discharge plenum. Casing Made of high quality galvanized steel plate, the assembly is insulated with thermo-acoustic material. Refrigerant Circuit Is made of refrigeration grade copper tubing, thoroughly cleaned and dehydrated. Brazing is made with silver alloy soldering. These units are supplied hermetically sealed and include a Nitrogen charge. Indoor Heat Exchanger Made of copper tubing 3/8”, mechanically expanded and aluminium fins. Fans Two centrifugal fans, double inlet, direct driven by means of a three-speed single phase motor (230.1.50Hz) with capacitor. Fans are of reduced sound level, they incorporate prelubricated bearings and are statically and dynamically balanced. Options: – Electric heaters – L.P.
