Rotor Mount number corresponds to section in which it is being installed - normally
the top section.
**If ordering a Bearing, a Top Plate must also be ordered. The top plate is welded to the top of the
top section and must be used with the bearing.
When ordering a Universal Manufacturing - freestanding aluminum tower, you first need to
determine which tower best fits your needs based on your location, climate and accessories you
choose to add - i.e. mast, etc. Example: your tower requires 6 sq. feet of wind load, you are
adding a rotor mount and a mast and you want a 50 foot tower. Based on this information you will
need at least 8 sq. feet of wind load. Go to the product page and on the left side of the page you
will see our complete list of towers to choose from. Scroll down the list until you come to the 50
foot towers and click on the one which has the wind load you need. If you don't find a tower
that has the 8 sq. foot of wind load you require, you will need to go to the next largest number
which is 9. This informs you that you will need a 9-50 Model. You will also notice that once you
click on a tower model all of the sections including the base that make up that tower will appear
on the right side of the same page. This tower has an 11" top section, which means that you need
to order an R-11 rotor mount.

The amount of concrete and hole size can be found in the install section of this catalog. Rebar
is not needed for the concrete, however, the bottom section of the tower is needed to set the base
in properly; so if you just order a base, you will also need at least the last tower section before you
can set the base.
Orders are shipped via common carrier, and freight is not included. Freight charges are C.O.D.
unless you make arrangements with us to have them included in your total cost prior to shipping.

purchase directly through Universal Manufacturing by sending a check in advance or we can ship
C.O.D.
