Product Application:
1,Measure the rpm and kv for BL motors with loading or
no-load, and display the voltage for battery at the same
time.
2,Measure the rpm/kv for engines and brushed
motors(need the special options)

How to use：
1．Introduce：
here are 5 pins on Kv meter:"+","-","signal","+","-".The kv
meter comes with a connecting cable,one side is servo
plug,another is a T-plug and a alligator clip.
Working voltage on 9-25V,what we should do:
(1)Connecting the servo plug to Kv meter:white
wire--"signal",red wire--the fourth pin"+",black wire--the
fifth pin"-"
(2)The T-plug should be connected between batteries and ESC
(3)The alligator clip should be connected to any one of the three
cables that connecting BL motor and ESC,then the kv meter can display
the rpm/kv as soon as the motor runs.
(*Generally,the testing requires the batteries not less than 3 cells (
≥9V power supply),It will be lack of power to test if the voltage is
lower than 8V)。

2．Measuring when the voltage is below 9V:：
Additional power supply(more than 9v) should be used on kv meter if measuring the rpm/kv for
system that works with the voltage is below 9V.Picture 1,a set of 3 cells lipos with Jst plug used on
KV meter, the anode connected to the first pin, and the cathode connected to the second pin.
Picture 2,kv meter displays"3965mV" ,that means the voltage is 3.965V.Then connect the alligator
clip to one of the three cables of ESC or motor, when the motor runs, the measuring is beginning.
Picture 3 shows the connector for testing rpm/kv on 1S battery.

3. Display details:
When it's power on, there are 4 numerals displayed on the screen: voltage, rpm, kv, series of
magnets .The numerals can be changed to be show by turns:
A.Voltage-11123mV:the voltage of power supply to the meter is
11.1V
B.Kv-000000kv:computed by rpm and voltage
C.RPM-0000000rpm:the rpm for the on-load set working on the
voltage.
D. Series of magnets-P:06 : one standard for measuring. We must
choose
the series. Picture shows "6" couples of magnets(12 series)
4. Buttons on Kv meter:
Two buttons on Kv meter:
Button A, used to adjust the categories displayed :rpm, kv, voltage.
Button B, used to input the couples of magnets.
5. Matters needing attention:
(1)Testing voltage range:1V-25V
(2)Because of the peculiarity of LCD, it's normal condition that renovation turning to be slow
(3)Pleaser be power off after the measuring.
(4)The kv meter is used for testing rpm/kv for BL motors. The "Hall Rate
Sensor" module required if want to test rpm/kv for brushed or other equipments.
(5)The motor should be no-loading, and top throttle is required.
(6)There may be some error for a very few micro motors with very low magnetism magnets
(7)For some high kv motors, long time no-loading working is not suggested.
