Whereas this project is the first phase of a multi year
plan to replace the utilities
and reconstruct the streets in the North Heights Subdivision;
Whereas the scope of work in this agreement provides topographical surveying
services for Sabine Street between Navarro Street and Laurent Street as part of the North
Heights Utility Improvements Phase I;
Now therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Victoria, Texas:

The City Manager is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with
CivilCorp,
LLC for

for the North
Heights Utility Improvements,
Phase I — Sabine
Street Project in the amount of 00,

Dear Lynn:
CivilCorp appreciates your request for a cost proposal for professional surveying services to
assist the City of Victoria with topographic surveying services for the North Heights Utility
Improvements, Phase I - Sabine Street Project. The scope of the project as currently defined
consists of various roadway segments bounded by Navarro Street and Laurent and Red River and
Trinity Street. From our review of the project area, the total length within the project limits to be
surveyed including distances along side street intersections is approximately 10,000 linear feet.
The scope of services is defined as follows:
Establish/Confirm Baseline and Benchmarks
Complete topographic survey along each street
Tie in property corners and block corners to define ROW
Obtain flowlines and inverts for each manhole and inlet
Survey Intersecting Streets
Cross -Sections
Prepare survey control map
Provide plan view drawings
Locate Utilities underground
(
& overhead)
Set project control monuments
Proposed Surveying Fee: $6000
This fee is based on surveying approximately 10,000 if foot for the topo work (including cadd
and plan profile sheet development)and for survey control work.

Project Schedule
As discussed with city staff, preliminary survey files will be completed in February and Final
deliverables will be submitted in March 2014. We will work with staff as needed with interim
deliverable to achieve desired schedules.
