What makes our
Super Wedge super?
▲ We use 1 inch thick tool steel with a
machined cutting edge to slice through
the toughest woods. Oak, hickory, locust,
walnut, maple - we’ve yet to find a wood
that our super wedge will not cut.
▲ Our formed and welded compound
wedge spreads and separates the log.
▲ The CNC turned rod bushing welded
to the wedge aligns precisely with the
cylinder piston to eliminate any binding
on the piston.
▲ The 1/2 inch thick baseplate completes
a solid weldment; the beveled
leading edge lifts the log into
cutting blade.
▲ Super Wedge weldment is
secured to the rail with six 1/2 inch
thick carriage bolts, slide guides,
and slide retainers. Square holes
in baseplate align with carriage
bolts to eliminate side movement.
Smooth, rounded heads on
carriage bolts will not catch logs.
