Motion diagrams
A motion diagram is a pictorial representation of motion. In other words, a way of showing motion using pictures.
Use a dot to represent the object in motion.
Show the position of the dot at equal time intervals. Show the velocity and acceleration vectors, as appropriate.

e.g. a ball is rolling at a constant velocity of 2 m/s. Draw the motion diagram.

A car starts from rest and accelerates to the left. Draw the motion diagram.

Get in the habit of drawing motion diagrams at the beginning of all problems. This will help you "see" what is happening and will make it easier to perform a correct analysis.
