ArcSystem is a range of LED auditorium
lighting fixtures specifically designed for use
within environments where dimming, quality of
light and ease of installation are of paramount
importance.
ArcSystem is available in a range of options
from single cell to multi cell including 1, 2, 4 ,8
Cell and Arc Lamp products (See other specification sheets). It provides 100% to absolute
zero dimming using wired DMX or the wireless
ArcMesh protocol. Wired RDM and Lumen Radio options are also available.
Arc Lamps are available in candle and golf ball
variants offering 2700K and 3000K colour temperatures

General Information
An LED lamp Ideal for auditorium chandelier lighting and wall mounted fixtures. The Arc Lamp offers 100% to absolute 0
smooth steeples dimming. Each fitting has on-board VDC Technology to maintain perfect uniform light levels across all Arc
Lamps in the installation, regardless of cable length.
The Arc Lamp 24V unit connects directly to a driver module (ARCLMD4AC). For details of the driver unit see separate
data sheet. When using the driver unit, the Arc lamp dimming control can be either wired DMX or wireless to suit your application. 230V mains dimmable versions are available however these are not recommended for auditorium as lighting smooth
dimming cannot be guaranteed.
ArcSystem has been specifically developed for auditorium lighting applications where high quality extremely accurate and
smooth dimming is required. The use of on-board Device Management in the driver allows all fittings to be addressed remotely using the ARCMCT (commissioning tool) with the ARCMTX1 (Wireless Gateway), ensuring installation is fast and
simple for electrical contractors.

230V mains dimmable versions are available, These versions are
dimmable via conventional dimmers. However it will not provide a
uniformly reliable “theatrical dim” beyond 15% and under.

GDS ArcLamp driver providing wired and wireless connectivity using our ArcMesh protocol, having Remote addressing,
> 320Lm output at 3000cct with CRI of 85. Unit is to be convection cooled and have smooth step less dimming to absolute
zero.

As CCT (Correlated Colour Temperature) increases, CRI is reduced and the lumen output increases.
The Table below shows the lumen output of all Arc lamp products at their corresponding CCT’s.

The values given are taken at 70°C fitting temperature, this is known as ’Hot Lumens’, many manufacturers state lumen
output at 25°C, this may show a higher output than is realistic.
