SAFETY CLOTHING FOR PROTECTION AGAINST HEAT AND CONTACT WITH MOLTEN METAL Focusing on high-temperature material applications for over 50 years, Pyrotek offers the industry process insight to help select the safety clothing to meet a company's requirements while consolidating its vendor base. Pyrotek uses high-quality materials and modern manufacturing processes to provide reliable safety clothing both operators and employers can trust. High-temperature industrial workers, like those working near furnaces, are commonly exposed to a variety of dangerous hazards including extreme radiant heat, scalding surfaces, sharp metal, broken glass, high voltage electricity and toxic chemicals. These hazardous conditions are sometimes compounded by noise, debris and grease or obscured by soot, smoke and poor lighting. Accordingly, suitable protective garments, including properly selected gloves, are absolutely necessary to protect from severe injury in even the best working conditions. Gloves must be resistant to heat, cuts and punctures while not adversely affecting comfort and dexterity. BENEFITS • Manufactured to stringent quality standards from the premium fabrics • Recognized international standards for heat and/or flame resistance MATERIAL SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS The materials used in Pyrotek's safety clothing have undergone the following certifications for quality and safety1: Heat and/or fire protection and resistance: MIL STD-191A-5903, EN 366, EN 367, EN 407, EN 532, EN 533, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 15025 Electric arc thermal hazard: EN 61482 Molten metal splash: EN 373 Material melting: EN ISO 3146 Welding use: EN ISO 11611 General protection: EN 340, EN 388 Tensile strength: EN ISO 13934 HOODS ANTI-FLASH/WELDING Size: Standard size.
