Shirley Sorenson, M.S.
Program Coordinator/Faculty; Aging Services Management Program
Shirley received her Bachelor degree in Health Sciences from the University of St. Francis of
Joliet, IL, Master's in Health Care Administration from Des Moines University and has additional
graduate work in gerontology. Shirley services on the Board for the Iowa Caregivers Assoc.,
member of the Educational Committee for the Iowa Caregivers Assoc., a member of the Iowa
Consortium of Aging Programs, and a member of the Iowa Person Direct Care Coalition .
