BioBug® Drain
Biological Drain and Grease Trap Treatment
Description
INSTITUTIONAL
®
BioBug Drain contains microorganisms that are capable of degrading a wide range of oils
and greases under aerobic, facultative, and anaerobic conditions. This biological formula is
blended with nutrients, stimulants, and surfactants to digest organic wastes while
simultaneously destroying malodor. When applied on a regular basis, BioBug Drain reduces
the accumulation of grease in sumps, drains, and traps, freeing other solids to flow through the
system. BioBug Drain is a green product, safe for animals and people as well as the
environment.

Waste Disposal Method: For disposal of aqueous surfactant solutions: Aerobic biological
effective in treating aqueous solutions of surfactants. Removal efficiency will depend upon
treatment plant conditions. As with any wastewater, consultation with local treatment plant
staff is recommended (and may be required by law) before disposal. In typical activated
sludge treatment systems, inlet concentrations below 50 mg/l have been treated without
foaming problems.
