Tap Search
Type innocaption in search field
Tap Search
Tap GET
Tap INSTALL, then press Home button

Tap InnoCaption icon
Input your 10 digit mobile number (not InnoCaption number) and tap Done
Set Legal Agreement to Green
Tap Agree
Tap Allow to enable location service for 911 support
Tap YES to caption all calls
To see InnoCaption number , go to Setting .
- If there is no InnoCaption number, press Home button and repeat from step 1

• When receiving an InnoCaption call, you will receive a notification asking you to launch the captioning. Otherwise,
you will miss incoming call.

7.How to make Outgoing Call

1. Tap InnoCaption App
2. Enter 10 digit phone number you wish to call and press Call button.
- From contact list, tap CONTACTS in the App. Tap phone number (do not tap handset icon)
3. Tap YES in notification
4. To end your call, tap Disconnect
Note)
• The other party sees your InnoCaption Number as Call ID, not your mobile phone number.
• If your phone does not support simultaneous voice and data (SVD), the phone must be connected to Wi-Fi.
☞ Sprint (its MVNO i.e Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile) does not support SVD.
Important! Your phone must be connected to either 4G (LTE or 4G) or WiFi as images below

8.How to receive Incoming Call

1. When a call comes in, tap ACCEPT
2. Tap YES to launch captioning service.
- InnoCaption dial pad appears briefly, and connect to Communication Assistant (CA)
3. To end your call, tap Disconnect
Note)
• The other party must dial your 10 digit InnoCaption Number for you to use captioning service.
• If your phone does not support simultaneous voice and data (SVD), the phone must be connected to Wi-Fi.
☞ Sprint (its MVNO i.e Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile) does not support SVD.
• If you are unable to answer/receive a call, the call will go to your InnoCaption Voice mail.

9.How to receive Incoming Call at Lock Screen

1. When a call comes in, slide right to answer
2. When InnoCaption notification appears, tap YES
3. Enter Passcode (if required ).
- InnoCaption will launch automatically.
4. To end your call, tap Disconnect
Note)
• The other party must dial your 10 digit InnoCaption Number for you to use captioning service.
• If your phone does not support simultaneous voice and data (SVD), the phone must be connected to Wi-Fi.

10.How to use InnoCaption Voicemail

When you have new voicemail, a red dot number will appear on home screen.
1. Tap InnoCaption
2. Press and hold # button for at least 1~2 second
3. Tap YES in notification
- Connecting to Communication Assistant(CA)
- Once it’s connected, voice message will play.
Note)
• Personalized greeting message is not available at this time. The default greeting for voicemail will be heard.

11.How to use Your Other Phone for voice (outgoing only)

Go Settings and tap Your Other phone for voice
Input from your contact list, tap Add or
Input directly, tap Edit button
To remove , tap Trash button
When calling to other person, Confirm dialog will appear and select Yes (or No). If you did not input
any number , the dialog will not appear.
6. Select one of your phones you want to use for voice.
<Example> If you select your home phone near you, the home phone will ring and you should pick it
up within 10 seconds. Then, you can talk over home phone while seeing captions on your smart phone.
Note)
• ‘My Phone’ cannot be removed nor modified.
• This feature enables you to use your mobile phone for captions and forward voice to your other phone, i.e. home phone,
work phone and 2nd cell phone. “ Talk on your landline while caption on your smart phone”

• When enabled, the phone will vibrate on incoming a call.

22. Trouble shooting
1. Data network signal
☞Check if your phone has either 4G or WiFi signal
2. Simultaneous Voice and Data (SVD) ; use data while on voice call
☞ If your phone does not have SVD, please connect to WiFi.
☞ Sprint and its MVNO do not offer SVD.
☞ Some prepaid carriers do not offer SVD, even though they sell 4G LTE phone.
☞ Please check with your carriers if they offer SVD.
3. Caller ID block
☞ Please unlock it. Our system cannot identify your registration.
4. Google voice and other dialer applications (VoIP)
☞ If you registered with a virtual number, please contact us to change to your mobile number.
☞ If any other dialer app is set as default dialer in your phone, please remove it.
5. Retry Activation if App does not work.
☞ Open App >> Setting >> Retry Activation
6. 4G LTE phone with HD voice (VoLTE) feature
☞ How to enable: Go setting >> Cellular >> Cellular data option >> Enable LTE >>Voice and Data.
☞ If not available, you see a message saying: “Cannot Activate LTE Calls. To enable LTE Calls on
this account, contact your carrier.”
