The summer university was organized by the Faculty of Low and the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Vienna with the support of the Austria Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy. I was one of the students who have been accepted in that scholarship was given by the Austrian government and I was very happy by then. I studied different course which were very new to me like Introduction to Christianity, Introduction to Islam, International law, International human rights, Human rights in Islam, Religions and States. Those experiences made me well exposed to the most issues are discussed on the table around the world. Students from different countries like Austria, Germany, Swiss land, Indonesia and other countries provided us with strong feedback about the real situations of religions and how they are practiced in the term of human rights and States and political level. Such participation always push me to make sure that I am a wonderful part of this beautiful world and I have to work hard to make peace covers its background. the International Horizons Summer Program that was in Wisconsin University , June 2- July 8, 2013, US. I participated in the International Horizons Summer Program 2013 which was set up for us in the United State. I learned there how stereotypes can be smashed under the power of real conversations between people in attempt to have good feedback about both cultures and nations. Furthermore I met one of the members of the American congress who talked about how education and economic take place in the states. We asked him many questions that made him realized that we Omani people appreciate education a lot. Also I delivered a speech in front of American students and some stuff of Wisconsin university about how we can enjoy being different from each other. Moreover I accomplished high scores in both subjects I studied there. The first subject I got 99% and the other one was 97%. The workshop of Bahrain Universities Model United Nations Conference, November29- November 30, 2012. I was selected by the university to participate in Bahrain Universities Model United Nations Conference 2012. It was like a huge event for me, and excellent opportunity to see visually how political issues are held in the global community, as I am very interested in such topics. Meeting some ambassadors, political experts, and different students from different parts of the world added a lot of experiences into my knowledge and made me able to visualize where my country and I will be in the near future. It also raised myself-confidence. This experience motivated me to work more on myself to be skillful in the language in order to be on the right level that enabling me to have a clear, useful and interesting voice in the world. Short meeting with Farah Pandith, the special representative to Muslim Communities for the United States Department of State, 2012. I was one of those students who has been selected to meet Farah Pandith, the special representative to Muslim communities for the United States department of state. We discussed a lot of issues that relate to Oman generally and to Islam particularly. During that conversation, I really realized how much of responsibility is required from us as students to represent ourselves in the way it should be, also in a way that respects all the freedoms of people and countries to accept them as the way they are. The International Horizons Summer Program, at Robert Gordon University, June 13- July 27, 2011, UK. I was looking for something more than being an English language student. I wanted to practice the language I learn, as it said, learning language is a social practice (Asraf, 1996). Thus, I decided to participate in the International Horizons Summer Program that was in Scotland, 2011.I learned there how to keep my smile on my face whatever happens because we can't experience different situations if we feel stressful and scared of what is going to happen next. My smile found me an area to be more likable and easily interact with people which in turn has great impact on me. It kept me away from facing hard time to get along with the culture and its people. Moreover I got the opportunity to deliver a speech on the behalf of my colleagues on the Omani open day to talk about how it is a pleasure to emerge the melody of Scottish music with the melody of the Omani music to be hearing as one voice, although the aspects of both lifestyles were different. Moreover I achieved 94% on the final exams has been set up for us in English language.
