A4-A0240 UNIVERSAL POWER SUPPLY
This unit has been designed to provide all
fixed and variable, AC and DC supplies
necessary in an Electrical Laboratory to
perform the required experiments and work
projects.
The unit is contained in a metal housing with
clear front panel identifications and 4 mm
safety sockets that make its use easy and
safe.
General and outputs protections guarantee
the user and the unit against misuse and/or
faulty operation. All protections are
designed according to the European
standards for safety.

A4-A0240M1 - THREE PHASE POWER SUPPLY
This Power Supply has a 3 Phase plus
Neutral input voltage and delivers a three
Phase plus Neutral fixed output on a 5 pin
socket and on a 4mm safety hubs, and two
single phase plus ground sockets.
It is protected by magneto-thermal and
differential switches and controlled by a key
switch. Once the key switch is ON, the
power supply is activated by a START
pushbutton and turned off by a STOP
pushbutton. An EMERGENCY switch is also
provided.
A POWER lamp is lit when power is ON.

This Power Supply has a 3 Phase plus

A4-A0240M3 - VARIABLE SINGLE PHASE AND DC POWER SUPPLY
This Power Supply has a 3 Phase plus
Neutral input voltage and delivers one AC
single phase and one DC independently
variable outputs, one AC single phase and
one DC fixed outputs. The variable voltages
are adjusted by means of a two separate
knobs.
The input is protected by magneto-thermal
and differential switches and controlled by a
key switch. Once the key switch is ON, the
power supply is activated by a START
pushbutton and turned off by a STOP
pushbutton.
The AC and DC variable outputs are
protected by additional magneto-thermal
switches.

A4-A0245 – UNIVERSAL POWER SUPPLY

This Power Supply has been designed to
fulfil the great majority of requirements of
an Electrical Laboratory as a source of AC
and DC controlled and protected outputs as
well as a subject of training in these areas.
The actual configuration can be defined on
specific customer requirements.
In spite of its compactness, a feature that
makes it quite handy in terms of human
interface and space requirement, in its full
configuration it delivers four outputs, one
fixed and one variable three phase AC, and
two variable DC outputs, one for high power
supply and one for low power, such as
excitation of DC and AC synchronous
machines. All outputs are protected by
magneto-thermal automatic switches and
with the overall protection of a 30mA
differential switch.
The variable voltages are adjusted by means
of two separate knobs.
Digital or analogue instruments are
optionally available:
– 3 ammeters for the variable three phase
AC output
– One voltmeter with voltage selector on
the same output to read all phase and
line voltages
– Ammeter and voltmeter on both DC
outputs
A Remote Contact Control feature is also
available on request: this makes it possible
to control the Power ON status of the unit by
an external contact such as that of an overspeed motor protection device or any other
protection/warning device.
Power controls include an OFF-ON key
operated switch, a LINE POWER lamp,
START-STOP pushbuttons and EMERGENCY
OFF mushroom pushbutton.

A4-A0250 - THREE PHASE POWER DISTRIBUTION BOARD
This distribution board has been designed to
provide up to 12 separate three phase plus
neutral outputs and is particularly useful in
laboratories of schools, workshops and
similar work places. Provisions have been
made to ensure that when power is dropped
inside the board for any reason, it cannot be
restored accidentally but only by a
deliberate action.
The magneto thermal switches are inside the
board and when tripped can be reset only
by opening the swinging door that is locked
with a key lock for safety.
The Emergency Stop pushbutton is
mechanically latched open when operated,
and can be reset by rotating the knob.
Technical characteristics:
The 3 phase plus neutral input is protected
by
magneto-thermal

differential
switches and each output has its own
individual magneto-thermal protection.
The front panel swinging door has one input
line indicator lamp, start and stop
pushbuttons, an emergency stop switch and
up to 12 indicator lamps, one for each
output. These lamps indicate the availability
of line voltage on the corresponding output.

A4-A4121 - THREE PHASE VARIABLE POWER SUPPLY
This is a series of educational autotransformers that are basically industrial
models especially equipped to be suitable
for training. For this purpose the windings
ends are connected to 4 mm safety sockets
in a metal housing on top of which a clear
electrical drawing shows the internal logic.
The students can therefore easily understand
operation and windings connections. Open
versions are also available.
The unit is protected by a magnetothermal
switch.
It is a useful accessory for providing a
variable voltage source in the laboratory.
