Jim Weir is a Senior Vice President | Brokerage with
The Retail Connection, L.P, a retail services and
investment firm based in Dallas. Weir has focused
his business on tenant representation across Texas
as well as project leasing. He has been integral in
the expansion plans of high profile retailers such as
Dollar Tree, Jos. A. Bank, and Ace Hardware.
Weir is a 25 year veteran in the real estate industry
specializing in retail for the last 16 years. Weir is
responsible for leasing over 5 million square feet in
Dallas | Fort Worth and Houston. Prior to joining The
Retail Connection, Weir was a Vice President with
the Woodmont Company.
Weir maintains an active role in the real estate community with his involvement in International Council
of Shopping Centers [ICSC]. Weir was named one of the Dallas Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters in ‘07,
‘08, and ‘09 and was the Biggest Deal Award recipient in ‘07.
Weir graduated with a bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi .
