SCC Cryostat.
The SCC cryostat provides the ideal cryogenic environment for
testing high Tc superconductors. The simple to use system
with the rugged construction and fast sample change can be
used for several applications discussed below

Closed Cycle Cryocooler
Vibrations:

The Displex vibrations at the sample
are the lowest in the class of
cryocoolers offering similar
performance in cooling power and
bottom out temperature.
The vibrations at the tip are lower
than the Pulse Tube cryocoolers.
And lower by a factor of 4 than
mechanical drive GM Cryocoolers.
The Displex is a Pneumatic Drive
cryocooler with no mechanical drive
components such as Cams, push
rods, and poppet valves.
The motor is axial which further
reduces the vibrations in the
horizontal plane (When the cooler is
mounted vertically).
For applications where vibrations
need to be even lower ARS offers
the DMX-20 for vibration level in 3-5
Nanometers.
