M. J. Maillis is one of the leading companies of pallet wrapping technology

wide variety of options for all applications and requirements optimizing
and guaranteeing the wrapping pattern with Maillis films.
The WS 46-47 are Fully Automatic Rotating Turntable Pallet
Stretch Wrapping machine designed for reasonably stable loads, in a low
to medium production environment. The turntable machines configuration
permit all the possible layout schemes (128 different possible solutions)
to easily and cost effectively wrap pallets with palletised goods. The rotation
mechanism is supplied with synthetic pinion on internal gear for maximum
of efficiency (oil free) while the integrated roller conveyor with narrow
pitch rollers permit a safe and smooth movement of all pallet type.

Wrapping Systems Range
Each machine is specially developed to meet the requirements and
specifications of a particular range of applications and they are according to
the customers needs.
The WS 46-47 machines are supplied with a state-of-the-art
motorised MAILLIS PW spool carriage (are included three sets of pre-stretch
pulleys up to 300%) with easy film insertion (no thread).
The machine also includes as standard clamping, cutting and brushing unit
for stretch film treatment at the end of cycles.

Power pre-stretch film control
Stretch film usage is minimised by the motorised power pre-stretch film
distribution carriage, with the lay-on force being controlled by fast,
responsive AC drive (superior technology by a very Low Inertia AC motor
and Vector frequency drive). The lay-on force can be varied throughout
the film cycle guaranteeing maximum efficiency and perfect stabilization

Options
The RA machine is a Fully Automatic Rotary arm Pallet Stretch
wrapping machine and is available in 6 different sizes. The machine
has been designed for unstable loads, in a medium to high production
environment and can be installed on the end of any automated
production line or as a stand alone unit, with integrated infeed, wrapping
and outfeed conveyors.
Auto film carriage changeover (Double Film System)
Specifying the Mancon with two film carriages with the automatic film
carriage changeover, provides the opportunity to increase machine uptime.
Each film carriage is supplied with a film gripper where the film tail end is
attached when changing the roll simplifying the operation.

The machine for very HIGH Throughput demand achieved by applying
a double film layer each ring turn.
Equipped with double welding unit & double film loading system as standard
‘NO LUBE’ technology for the Food & Beverage Industry
The option avoids any kind of oil or grease on the machine and delivers no
environment contamination.
The RA machines has a state of the art power pre-stretch unit,
which combines fixed pre-stretch options up to 300% with precise lay on
force control. This combination provides the end user with a high quality,
efficiently wrapped well contained pallet.
User friendly controls via a touch screen control unit provide the user with
the flexibility and functional requirements required to easily set up, fault find
or manually control any part of the machine. The machine parameters and
capacity requirements are simply set by the operator entering the required
pallets per hour and film overlap. The machine can be equipped with a film
seaming unit and various other options.
