The Jump Start Harness in your package should look
like the picture to the right which is our EK1-153
2000 Amp Jump Start Harness with 2 Plugs
Please take note again that this Item the EK1-125 Bike-2-Bike Jr. Does not come with the Jump Start
Harness, so make sure you have ordered the correct item. If you need a Complete Jump Start system see our
Complete Bike-2-Bike Jumping Kit EK1-115 Which does come with the Jump Start Harness
Note ! Before Installation Check all Dims 12 gauge Female BMW Jumper Plugs (As Seen in Picture Below) on your Harness
and Alligator Clips to make sure there has been no damage to the 12 Gauge plug wires connected in the Plugs before you
install anything to your Battery.
These Plugs (The Female BMW Plugs) Do not have an inline fuse link, so make sure you test the Dims Female BMW plug as
seen in the picture below continuously during your installation.
Check BMW Plug before installation to the battery to make sure Electrical connectors are securely connected on the Plug
before you attach eyelets Red and Black to Battery Terminals to prevent shock.
To Check and inspect female BMW Plug connectors slide back external housing on harness down the wires towards the Fuse
link to make room to unscrew BMW plug housing to check connectors as seen in pictures 1, 2, & 3 Below. Note! Make sure
Both Connector plugs (Red and Black) are securely connected to their mini plugs (as seen Above in Picture) inside the female
BMW Plug and are securely tight. Copper Pin is Positive, Brass Pin is Negative
Make sure the positive and negative connectors inside the plug as seen in the picture above are securely tight before you
attach the ring terminals of the harness to the battery terminals as this part should be last after making sure you have not
damaged the plug.
During installation you must be careful as to NOT pull on the Female BMW Plug when you are feeding the wiring harness
from your battery to snub out to the side of your Motorcycle as seen in the picture below.
Note! DO NOT pull on any of the electrical plugs!! Pulling on the BMW Female plug will cause damage to the plug
connector wires on the inside of the dims female BMW plug and cause an electrical short in the circuit wire and may cause
severe damage or even fire. This will immediately cause a faulty installation and damage the electrical system.
Always test and check voltage continuity on plugs before, during and after any installation for safety to make sure you
have not damaged anything during your installation.

have your new EKLIPES™ unit installed by an Authorized Motorcycle Dealer.

Plug (A) In the Picture Shows the BMW Style Jump Start Plug
The Female BMW Plug Side of our EK1-153 Battery Harness is actually a 12 Gauge 2000 Cranking Amp Jumper Cable Plug
for our 5 Ft 5 inch 12 Gauge Jump-Start Extension Cable with 2 Male BMW Plugs on each end to plug into each Harness for
easy Jump Starting. When not using just put the Cap on and it will be there when you need it.
Plug # 2 on Battery Harness is a SAE Duel Pin Quick Connector Plug
The SAE Duel Pin Quick Connector Plug side on our EK1-153 Battery Harness has a 15 Amp Fuse Link in it to protect all
your electronics and also works on all Our EKLIPES Electronics, Motorcycle / Power Sport Battery Chargers and Compatible
Heated Clothing
Now that you have your Jump Start Battery Harness installed correctly on your bike all you have to do when you need a Jump
Start is Plug in the Jump Start Cable to the Battery Harness and
If the other Bike you want to Jump from has one of our Jump Start harness on his bike then all you have to do is plug the cable
into his Harness and you are ready to go.
OR
If the other Motorcycle or Vehicle does not have one of our Harness’s then just plug in the Alligator Clips into your Jump
Start cable attach the Alligator Clips onto the battery you want to Jump From (Red Positive / Black Negative) and then Plug
your Jump Start Cable into your Jump Start Plug (Plug # 1) on your Jump Start Battery Harness.
Now For the First time EVER, you can now Jump-Start one Motorcycle or Power Sport vehicle from another by Just plugging
directly into the 2000 Amp Female BMW plug located on your EZ Jump Start Battery Harnesses ! (NO MORE ALLIGATOR
CLIPS, NO MORE HASSLE IF YOUR OTHER BIKE HAS OUR NEW JUMP START HARNESS!)
