Detailed Itinerary:
Day ONE
D a y 1 – A rri va l i n H a N o i
You will be welcomed at the Airport by a Vietnam Travel Centre representative and transferred to
a countryside village where you will check into a traditional house. Enjoy the fresh countryside air,
and the peaceful landscape. Spend your first day in Vietnam at leisure. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day TWO
D a y 2 – H a no i
This morning enjoy a cycling trip around the village, go fishing or simply relax. Check our after a
leisurely lunch and head back to Ha Noi city where you will spend the night, Go on an excursion
into the town centre taking in the many streets of the old quarter. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day THREE
D a y 3 – H a N o i – H a L o ng (B a i Tu L o ng b a y)
Depart for Halong Bay. The four hour drive passes through Vietnamese countryside and lush rice
paddy fields. Arriving at the port around noon, you will be met by the boat’s crew who will
welcome you with a drink and offer you a cruise briefing. Embark on your cruise along the
fascinating bay that features thousands of limestone karts and isles in various sizes and shapes.
Savour a fresh, local seafood lunch while cruising on to Bai Tu Long Bay. Stop in between for a
swim, visit the mysterious Thien Canh cave and relax on a secluded beach. You will also get the
opportunity to kayak and explore the bay up close. Return to the boat to enjoy a relaxing sunset
and more culinary delights that your chef prepares for you. Overnight on board
Day FIVE
D a y 4 – H a L o ng
Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape. After
breakfast go on a morning cruise to Ba Cua beach while passing through thousands of islands
and islets. Relax at the beach and enjoy more kayaking, swimming or sunbathing. You will be
served a BBQ lunch on the beach before cruising onwards to Cong Do. Return to your boat for
another relaxing evening. Overnight on board.
Day FIVE
D a y 5 – H a L o ng – H a N o i
This morning your cruise will take you to the Vong Vieng fishing village This hundred year old
village is set in the most tranquil settings and you will be awe inspired by the simple ways of the
villagers. Meet the locals, visit a floating school and discover how oysters are farmed here. Cruise
back to the Port after a late breakfast. On arrival at the airport you will be transferred to Ha Noi
for your overnight stay.
Day SIX
Day 6 – Ha N oi - Hoi An
Embark on a city tour of Hanoi this morning. Begin your day by visiting the Ho Chi Minh
Mausoleum where President Ho Chi Minh read the manifesto in 1945. The next stop is the Temple
of Literature, possibly Vietnam’s oldest and finest University. Founded in 1070, in honour of the
Chinese philosopher Confucious, the temple of literature served as a centre for higher learning
which educated future mandarins for seven centuries to come. Enjoy a traditional music
performance at the Temple of literature. In the afternoon, we transfer to Ha Noi airport for your
flight to Da Nang. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Hoi An for an evening of rest
and relaxation.
Day SEVEN
Day 7 - Hoi An
You will be picked up after breakfast for a bicycle trip to the country side of the Hoi An town and
visit the Tra Que Organic village, where you can visit the gardens managed by the local farmers.
Learn about their traditional methods and farming techniques - no machines are used here. Later,
you could join-in some of the garden work followed by a traditional feet-soaking session in
Vietnamese herbs. In the afternoon you will head back Hoi An town for lunch at a local
restaurant. After lunch you will have the opportunity to walk around the town and experience its
charming culture. You will visit the old Tan Ky House, the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, and
the stylish Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Spend the rest of the
evening at leisure Overnight in Hoi An.
Day EIGHT
D a y 8 – D a y 9– H o i A n
Spend your day relaxing on the beach or exploring Hoi An.
Day TEN
D a y 10 – H o i A n – H a no i /H o C hi M i nh C i t y d e p a rt ure
Departure transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) for your flight
back home.
