Every year about 80,000 school children get a taste of science as
part of our education programme, encouraging them to explore
science and ultimately aiming to inspire them to become the next
generation of scientists, engineers and inventors. A further 88,000
meet the “On Tour” team as they travel the length and breadth
of Scotland to bring the same message to remoter communities
and schools across the land. Your support and your membership
money is a crucial part of making this possible, as well as helping
to ensure we can continue to invest in new exhibitions and
