Floor - 1/4" Masonite over sprung sub floor, 1 Metre (3’ 3”), above 1st seating row floor. No traps.
Obstruction - A spiral staircase is in the downstage left corner of the stage.
There is no crossover directly behind the cyc due to equipment storage. There is a hallway directly
behind the stage with clear access to the wings.
Curved Orchestra Pit - Hydraulic lift, seats, music stands and lights for twenty musicians.

LOADING FACILITY
The loading dock door is an overhead door
located at the rear of the College. Access is
from a truck bed height loading dock, down a
long hall (76’), through an overhead door,
down a short hall (34’) and onto the stage
right wing.
The loading dock door has a width of 2.35
Metres (7’8") and a clear height of 2.68
Meters (7’10"). The narrowest part of the
passageway is 1.98 metres wide by 2.77
metres high (6’6” wide by 9’1” high).

DRESSING ROOMS
Backstage there are 10 individual rooms with
sinks that share two washrooms and two
showers. These can accommodate 1 to 3
persons.
There are also 2 group dressing rooms that can
accommodate up to 14 people. These rooms are
each equipped with 2 sinks, one shower and a
washroom.
GREEN ROOM
A green room is available off stage left. There is seating for 10, a fridge, sink, dishwasher (residential)
and a microwave. This space is shared with the office staff during the day. The stairs into the orchestra
pit also are in the green room.

Projection
Projectors:
1 - Panasonic PT-DW7000UK. WXGA 1366x768 native, 6000 lumen dual lamp, with Panasonic
ETD75LE3 3-5 ZOOM LENS. Located at back of house. Throw distance to electric screen is 66’ and 82’
to the house position of the moveable screen.
2 – Sanyo PLC-XU88. XGA 1024x768 native,3000 lumen. Projectors are permanently mounted under
nd
the 2 FOH catwalk and focus on the electric screens along the side of the theatre auditorium.
Screens:
1 – Electric screen located directly downstage of the Proscenium is a Front Projection Screen that
measures 24 feet wide and drops down 13’ 6”. However our first FOH lighting truss blocks the top 16” of
the screen. The current light hang may negate maximum image size. The screen stops 7’ 6” feet from the
stage floor.
1 - Hanging screen 18’x10’. Front (Pearlescent) or rear (Da-Tex) projection. The house position for this is
Line set 16.
2 – Electric screens 10’x8’. Front projection screens. Permanently mounted on the walls of the
auditorium above the vomitoria entrances.
Operation
Lighting and Video:
Lighting is controlled from behind a glass window in
a control room at the rear of the house. Show
sound is available at this position. The Lighting
booth is at the same level as the last row of seating
and for this reason the seats in front of the window
are usually reserved.
Audio:
Audio can be controlled from 2 locations:
1 – Control room House Right of centre. The
operator sits behind a open window. The Audio
booth is at the same level as the last row of seating
and for this reason the seats in front of the window
are usually reserved. This is the standard
configuration.
2 – House position right of centre. When required
the audio position can be moved into the audience
chamber. 4-12 seats are removed from the last
row (P11-P22) depending on size of set up. This
move adds a minimum of an hour to booking times.
