MERV 13 Filters
AlpinePure MERV 13 Filter
Heavy Duty Beverage Board Frame
• Maintains MERV 13 rating in full ASHRAE
52.2 independent test as required for LEED®
certification.
• Low initial resistance promotes low energy
consumption (0.21 in. w.g. @ 300 fpm).
• Low velocity means lower energy consumption and
nearly twice the life (300 fpm vs. standard 500
fpm application).
• AlpinePure MERV 13 filters can help fulfill a
credit under the LEED Rating System! These
filters provide points toward LEED certification
and meets the LEED Green Building criteria for
minimum efficiency.

Features
• Two Piece Frame Construction - Double wall
thickness around the outer edge and integral die cut
cross members provide strength and rigidity.
• Water Repellent Adhesive - Adheres Even When
Wet - The adhesive ised to bond the frame and the
media pack into a unitized assembly is highly water
repellent. The pleats hold together even when wet.
No delaminating, no excessive buckling, no collapsing.
Envision Series Commercial 0.75 - 6 Ton
units are equipped with field switchable
filter racks. The filter rack/duct collar can
be easily adjusted between 1" [2.5 cm]
and 2" [5.1 cm] thick for filter flexibility.
Specifications
• Initial resistance 2" wide filter @ 500 fpm
velocity: 0.41 in. w.g.
• Final resistance 2" wide filter: 1.0 in. w.g.
• AlpinePure MERV 13 performance based upon ASHRAE
52.2-2007 test standard
• UL classified - UL Class 2 per UL standard 900
• Maximum operating temperature is 200°F

The AlpinePure MERV 13 filter shall be ASHRAE 52.2 independent tested as required for LEED® certification. It shall provide
points towards LEED certification, and also meet LEED Green Building criteria for minimum efficiency. The MERV 13 2" filter
shall have 0.21 in. w.g. initial resistance at 300 fpm and a final resistance of 1.0 in. w.g. promoting low energy consumption
and doubling the life of the filter. It shall be made with heavy-duty, double wall beverage board frame, 100% synthetic media,
media pack support member, galvanized steel pleat support grid, and has a water repellant adhesive. The MERV 13 filter shall
be able to withstand a maximum operating temperature of 200°F and carry a UL class 2 rating per UL standard 900.
