First impressions are of utmost importance. This team represents Gardena
Valley Assembly to all of our visiting friends.
Job Descriptions:
Usher –
Commit to being at assigned services 15 minutes early
Help people locate seats, bathrooms, classes, whatever is needed
Make our guests (and church family) feel welcome
Greeter –
Arrive early before discipleship to help people locate classes
Greet people as they enter for the main service handing out calendars or anything
else that might be given
Security –
Walking the church facility for the duration of the service to keep an eye on cars
Looking in at classes to make sure all is well
Requirements for fulfilling these roles are as follows:
Born again-actively pursuing a close relationship with the Lord through prayer and
Bible study
A member of Gardena Valley or be in the process of becoming a member -includes
membership class
Commit to church, life group/discipleship group attendance
Teachable & submissive to authority
Timely and faithful to scheduled commitments
A people person – enjoy helping and working with people
