ELECTRICAL FAULT DISRUPTS SERVICE
…SECTIONS OF ST. CATHERINE AFFECTED
The National Water Commission is advising customers in some sections of St. Catherine are presently
without their regular water supply as a result of an electrical problem affecting operations at the Jericho
#2 Pumping Station.
Water will be supplied to the affected areas on a schedule and is as follows:

Ewarton, Cassava Pond, Charlton Meadows, Tucker Road, Tucker Lane, Polly Ground, Henry
Lane and Coghiel Road - will get piped water from 6am to 6pm.

While Bambury, Charliemount Housing Scheme, Natty Farm Yard, lower sections of White
House and Cotton Piece - will be supplied water from 6pm to 6am.
In the interim, water will be trucked to the areas of Orangefield, sections of Victoria District and the
elevated section of White House on Wednesday June 1, 2016 and Saturday June 4, 2016.
The NWC apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures customers that restoration of regular
water supply is scheduled to return on Monday, June 6, 2016.
