IGOLU AND IMAGINE1DAY: A JOURNEY IN LEADERSHIP | THE FINE PRINT imagine1day journeys are designed to bring together a group of extraordinary people who are committed to elevating themselves, their communities, and the world. Trip Dates: March 29, 2017 – April 9, 2017 Note: Your plans should consider approx. one day of travel on either side of these dates. What’s included: The trip includes all Ethiopia domestic air travel and ground transportation, shared occupancy accommodation, three meals per day, adventure guiding, and entrance fees to cultural and sacred sites planned in the itinerary. The cost does not include travel to and from Ethiopia, trip and medical insurance, visas, inoculations, medications, beverages and alcohol, personal spending, unforeseen expenses and any expenses not specifically listed as being included. Our travel together will begin and end in Ethiopia's capital city, Addis Ababa. Your Fundraising Commitment: Together, you will collectively raise $100,000 USD to fund the cost of training 325 Ethiopian teachers, leaders and government representatives in igolu. Each participant is required to personally raise $10,000 USD, which supports the overall $100,000 goal. Sounds a bit daunting? We've got your back and we’re excited to work with you in turning your fundraising vision into a reality. The igolu team will be supporting each fundraiser with a monthly call. Funds raised will be eligible for tax receipts in the United States and Canada. Commitment Terms: You agree to fundraise the $10,000 USD personal goal by January 31, 2017. To Understand: All trip participants will be required to: Sign a liability release prior to embarking. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will sign the liability release on behalf of the minor. Sign a commitment to raise your share ($10,000 USD) of the $100,000 USD fundraising goal. Complete a medical examination and provide a medical information form to the imagine1day staff. Receive all recommended inoculations and purchase recommended medications. Sign a Participant Photography and Video Agreement and Child Protect Code of Conduct declaration. Confirm your flight reservations to Ethiopia by the required date. Purchase a visitor visa upon entrance to Ethiopia. We have a great deal to learn from and share with Ethiopia and its people. As a participant it is nonetheless important to understand that Ethiopia does not have the infrastructure, medical facilities, hygiene and legal system that exist in your home country. 1 Though this trip is designed to promote participants' safety, comfort and fun, you must be prepared to accept the risk of this adventure in Ethiopia, including; personal injury, emotional trauma, illness, unanticipated events, death, loss or damage to property.
