Personal Statement
I bring to any job a strong work ethic and desire to succeed, a willingness to cooperate with others, and
a need to produce quality work. As a result of the knowledge and skills gained through my studies and
my industry-based experiences, I will adequately fulfil the requirements of any job that suits my selected
skills. I have a special interest in web development and graphic design and have familiarised myself with
different web languages and technologies. I have started to greatly develop many of the skills both
technical and interpersonal needed for different roles but am also eager to learn more to adapt to my
required goals.

My role with Kanaloa Swimwear involved the development, maintenance and functionality
of their website which launched at the end of July 2015. Ultilising the websites content
management system BigCommerce, I edited a theme the client has chosen with HTML/CSS/
PHP to get the exact look they wanted for their site. I also provided services surrounding
their stock database, inputting data and information they required onto the site.
My role with HBCM has primarily revolved around the creation of their monthly digital
newsletter to be distributed to over 4000 of their clients every month. Each month I update
the clients’ website with news articles they have written and compile them together into an
EDM Campaign to be distributed through the online newsletter service MailChimp. At the
end of each month I analyse readership statistics for each newsletter and document a report
on that months results.

My role with DEBRA Australia has been their main graphic designer for all promotional
material, documentation and other key marketing aspects of the organisation such as digital
and print newsletters/brochures. This also includes maintaining and updating their current
website through WordPress, focusing on coding the site to their specifications using HTML/
CSS/PHP. The role has also revolved around managing their social media by maintaining
DEBRA Australia’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts.

My duties at JB Hi-Fi have included customer service, helping customers with their purchases,
management of stock levels and ordering stock for the store. During my employment at
