Liquid Applied Membranes

advertisement
Liquid applied elastomeric membranes are used in the construction
industry to waterproof and protect surfaces against wear, abrasion
and chemicals.
Easy to apply alternatives to membranes made from thermoplastic materials (HDPE, EPDM, ...), bituminous
coatings and epoxy coatings. Liquid applied elastomeric membranes are used when lasting elasticity is required for crack bridging applications.
Liquid applied elastomeric membranes have excellent adhesion to dry primed substrates (substrate moisture content < 5%). The combination of high elasticity with good chemical and wear resistance, make these
membranes highly suitable for a wide range of applications.
The big advantage of the liquid applied elastomeric membranes in applications with positive liquid pressure, is the seamless application. There is no need to perform complex welding operations or to provide
specialised detailing items. Liquid applied membranes can easily be applied as seamless membranes in corners, edges and around protrusions and penetrations of the surface. This eliminates the possibility of weak
spots in the membrane integrity.
The DenePur 200 hot-spray applied polyurea coatings, while requiring specialised equipment, allow the
treated surface to be brought back in operation in a matter of minutes. These systems also have a very high
resistance to abrasion and wear, eliminating the need for protective layers and coatings in most applications.
The DenePur EM cold applied membranes are very easy to apply, using simple techniques and simple
equipment. These membranes are highly suited for waterproofing surfaces and structures.

primers
hot-spray applied membranes
top coats and cold applied membranes
Liquid applied elastomeric membranes are always applied to a properly prepared and primed
substrate with maximum moisture content less than 5%. The substrate surface needs to be
cleaned, sand or grid blasted and repaired according to the accepted standards before the
primer is applied. Depending on the surface type and application, several primers can be used.
De Neef Conchem has a comprehensive range of hot-spray applied membranes to suit all possible applications.
In addition to the DenePur 200 hot-spray applied membranes, De Neef Conchem offers a
range of cold applied elastomeric coatings.
Pre-packed 2-C epoxy primer for application to dry surfaces. Multitek Primer EP can be used on dry
concrete and masonry. Multitek Primer EP can be filled with glow dried quartz sand for filling and
repairing small shallow cracks, bug holes, pinholes and other small concrete imperfections.
Pre-packed 2-component water based epoxy primer for application to moist or dry surfaces. Multitek
Primer BW can be filled with glow dried quartz sand for filling and repairing small shallow cracks, bug
holes, pinholes and other small concrete imperfections.
Pre-packed 2-component epoxy primer for dry surface applications. Multitek Primer EPF has a short
recoat time for the application of the DenePur membrane.
Pre-packed fast curing PMMA primer for cold temperature applications on dry surfaces. Multitek
Primer PMMA can be used at temperatures below 5°C.
2-component phosphate based epoxy primer for metal substrates.
Polyurethane adhesion coat for smooth and porous concrete surfaces.
Multitek Primer PU can be applied to dry or wet substrates.
Multitek Primer PU is mixed in a 1/1 ratio with water before application.
DenePur 200 MP is a multi purpose 2-component, high performance, hot-spray, elastic, polyurea
membrane which can be used for most applications to seal and protect surfaces, structures and construction elements from mechanical and chemical aggression. DenePur 200 MP can be applied as a
High Build membrane built up in several coats.
2-component, high performance, hot-spray, elastic, polyurea membrane for waterproofing, sealing
and protection of the treated surface which are exposed to high mechanical loads. DenePur 200 AR
has been developed with improved abrasion resistance for harsh application conditions such as factory and warehouse floors, truck parks and maintenance areas, bulk silos, conveyor belts, ... .
2-component, high performance, hot-spray, elastic, polyurea membrane for waterproofing, sealing
and protection of surfaces in contact with potable water and for rehabilitation of potable water containers and pipes. DenePur 200 PWA is suitable for normal to medium membrane thickness. A special
version for High Build applications or for build-in-place pipeline replacement is available.
2-component, high performance, hot-spray, elastic, polyurea-polyurethane hybrid membrane for waterproofing, sealing and protection of roofs, insulation foam, underground parking floors. DenePur
200 HI can be applied to surfaces exposed to light or medium application conditions.
2-component, high performance, hot-spray elastic polyurea-polyurethane hybride membrane with
improved chemical and mechanical resistance for sealing and protecting the treated surface. DenePur
200 HC has a high cross-link ratio for improved solvent resistance and is highly suitable as liquid proof,
seamless applied membrane in secondary containment and bunding areas.
2-component, high performance, hot-spray, elastic, aliphatic UV-resistant polyurea membrane for
waterproofing, sealing and protection of the treated surface. DenePur 200 UVR can be used as fast
curing transparent and colour stable top coat for DenePur 200 membranes or as stand alone coating
in high UV exposure applications.
DenePur Em is a 1-component liquid polyurethane resin with optional accelerator which cures
into a flexible, tough, elastomeric membrane with weather resistant and waterproofing properties. DenePur EM is cold applied to the properly prepared substrate. DenePur EM is UV-protected
and is highly suitable for rooftop applications.
2-component, high performance, cold applied polyurea coating as repair kit for the DenePur
200 hot-spray applied membranes. DenePur EM 2C is cold applied with a brush, roller or spatula.
DenePur EM 2C is a polyurea coating with longer pot life to allow for manual applications. DenePur
EM 2C has higher mechanical and chemical resistances compared to DenePur EM for applications
which do not warrant or allow the use of hot-spray equipment due to size or space limitations.
1-component aliphatic polyurethane top coat for finishing elastomeric coatings and membranes.
DenePur EM UVR is applied to prevent discoloration of the coating and to improve UV-resistance
of the exposed system. DenePur EM UVR can be coloured with special pigments to obtain the final
colour of the applied system. Trafficability of DenePur EM UVR is limited to foot traffic.
1-component aliphatic polyurethane top coat for elastomeric coatings and membranes with improved wear resistance. DenePur EM UVR HPT is a colour stable top coat trafficable by high volume
pedestrian traffic up to traffic from light vehicles. DenePur EM UVR HPT is supplied pre-pigmented
and is available in 3 standard colours.
