fighting solution packages as one single
source supplier, supplying all major
equipment such as pumps, monitors,
gearboxes and control systems.
Our system comes as a total integrated
package which is easy to install, and
complies with all technical requirements
and Class I, II and III rules and regulations. Auxiliary equipment such as foam mixing
systems and oil dispersant systems can
also be included in our scope of delivery,
enhancing the vessel’s capability in a
disaster relief operation.
Wärtsilä’s quality assurance system is
certified according to ISO-9001 and approved
by all major classification societies.
With larger vessels being built to support
deep sea drilling, our experience enables us to
support the ship owners in this development,
thus ensuring success in harsh offshore

water curtain system, achieving

safety of the crews during fire fighting
mode. The water flows from nozzles
to prevent sparks from flying or
extinguishing any burning material.

1. END SUCTION PUMP CBF 300
Single entry, end suction type pump with
capacity up to 1600 m3/hr at 150m head.
2. DOUBLE SUCTION -AXIAL SPLIT PUMP
Axially split double suction type CB pump for
FiFi 1, 2 & 3 application. Available in various
configurations for ease of system design and
installation.
3. STEP-UP GEAR BOX
Horizontally or vertically offset step up
gearbox with built in hydraulic clutch,
actuated by means of solenoid valve
4. CLUTCH CONTROL PANEL
Operation and monitoring of clutch control
including interlocking function with main
propulsion system.
5. WATER/FOAM MONITOR
Electro-hydraulic remote control type monitor
with spray deflector. Two hand wheel built
onto the monitor for emergency manual
operation.

Scope of supply: The ABS classed
1465dwt, 59m offshore anchor handling
tug/supply vessel with a FiFi 1 system was
fitted with Wärtsilä Hamworthy 2 x C22BA
1500m3/hr fire pumps at 14 bar and 2 x
1200m3/hr FEH 200 water monitors c/w
water curtain system.
Scope of supply: The 60m offshore anchor
handling tug/supply vessel was fitted
with Wärtsilä Hamworthy 2 x CB22BA
1500m3/hr fire pumps at 14 bar and 2 x
1200m3/hr FEH200D water/foam monitors
c/w water curtain system meeting FiFi 1
requirements.
Scope of supply: The 494dwt, 48m
offshore supply/utility BV class vessel with
FiFi 1/2 is fitted with a Wärtsilä Hamworthy
C12BA 1200m3/hr fire pump at 13 bar and
2 x 600m3/hr water/foam monitor.
