TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Resale Certificate Number: required
from all Dealers.
Prices are U.S. dollars F.O.B. from origin
and do not include charges for freight or
installation.
All orders are subject to acceptance by
the local representative and our office.
All orders must have the Dealer’s name,
address, phone number, purchase order number and purchase order dollar
amount.
All orders must include a requested ship
date, ship to address, job name, location
and freight terms (i.e. 3rd party or prepaid & add to invoice).
All orders must include model number,
voltage requirement, type of gas, altitude if installation is 2000 feet and over.
Specify any optional accessories you
want to include with your order
International Orders: Any orders shipping outside the continental U.S. or
Canada will be subject to an 8% Warranty Administration Fee added to the
invoice, and could be subject to other
charges including configuration (50 Hz
upcharge) and CE approval fees. Please
contact the Customer Service Department for specific details.
International Warranty: The standard
warranty for all equipment shipped outside of the U.S. is 1 year on parts only
from the date of installation.
U.S.: The standard warranty for all
equipment shipped within the U.S. and
Canada is parts and labor from the date

Standard Payment terms: NET 30
Days. If not paid within terms the following additional charges apply:

Freight classification: Class 85
A $50 per day storage fee will be
charged for orders not shipped from
Market Forge’s manufacturing facility on
assigned ship date.
RETURN POLICY
Returns & Cancellations: Market Forge
products cannot be returned without prior written factory authorization
The restocking charge is 25% for nonstandard equipment, 15% for standard
equipment plus any costs to recondition
the equipment. No returns accepted after 90 days from date of invoice. Returns
for credit must be freight prepaid. Orders cancelled or changed after production has started are subject to a charge
of up to 25%.
Returned Goods Authorization (RGA)
must accompany all returns. All returns
must be shipped prepaid within 30 days
of authorization and must be in proper
crating. Repair of any shipping damages
will be deducted from credit due.
Market Forge reserves the right to refuse the return of non-stock products.

INCOMING REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT STEAM
Direct steam kettles will operate at pressure ranges from 5–50 PSI or up
to the Maximum Allowable Working Pressure also commonly known as
MAWP. When sizing direct steam kettles, it is essential to take into consideration the distance between the boiler feeding the steam supply to
the kettle as well as the size of the pipe and the number of potential restrictions such as elbows. Remote boiler sizing is a job for food service
consultants or mechanical engineers. The rule of thumb to consider
when it comes to sizing the incoming steam supply to a direct steam
kettle is as follows: It takes 1 BHP (Boiler Horse Power) to bring 20
gallons of kettle capacity to a boil in 1 hour at 15 PSI.

SELECTION/SIZING GUIDE
The following chart is intended to be a guide to sizing various models of Market Forge steam cookers and
kettles. This guide is based upon the direct steam kettles being installed next to a boiler module. If the
kettles are to be installed at a distance greater than 5 feet from the boiler module, you will lose some BHP
efficiency, and should contact our sales representatives or home office to determine proper selection and
sizing of boilers and kettles. We do not recommend operating kettles larger than 60 gallons with a 15 PSI
boiler, as higher operating pressure is needed for efficient operation of larger kettles. The number in the
box on the chart is maximum kettle capacity recommended. Various kettles can be combined to attain
recommended gallons.

WARRANTY
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
We warrant that Market Forge Industries cooking equipment will be free from defects in material and factory workmanship for a period of one year from the EFFECTIVE WARRANTY DATE, which shall be the date
the equipment is placed in service, or 15 months from date of shipment from our factory, whichever comes
first. Providing the equipment is unaltered, has been properly installed, had a free mechanical start-up by
our authorized factory service agency, and been properly maintained and operated, we will repair or replace, at our option, F.O.B. Burlington, Vermont, that part of any such equipment that becomes defective
due to defects in material and/or factory workmanship during the applicable warranty period, subject to
the following limitations.
Market Forge Industries will replace, repair, or adjust at no cost any part of all equipment which becomes
defective due to material or factory workmanship within the EFFECTIVE WARRANTY DATE. Any labor required for any such repair, replacement or adjustment after the effective warranty period shall be paid by
the user or dealer. Adjustments are only covered in the first 90 days of the one-year warranty. With respect
to BOILER SHELLS only, there is an additional four (4) year warranty limited to the replacement of such
shells. Whenever we replace a boiler shell, after one (1) year from the EFFECTIVE WARRANTY DATE, the user
shall pay a prorata share of the then selling price thereof based on the number of months elapsed from the
EFFECTIVE WARRANTY DATE. There is no labor compensation when boiler shells are pro-rated. Boiler shells
which have not been properly maintained will not be considered for proration;
Factory inspection may be necessary.
OPTIONAL WARRANTY (BOILER SHELL ONLY)
(Cannot be combined with Optional Second Year Warranty) With respect to BOILER SHELLS only, there is an
additional one year full warranty* on the shell when the user and/or dealer has purchased the KLEENSTEAM
FILTER OPTION from Market Forge Industries, Inc. The second year warranty is limited to new equipment
only, and the filter system must be purchased from Market Forge Industries, Inc., there is an additional four
(4) year warranty limited to the replacement of such shells. Whenever a boiler shell is replaced beyond
the two (2) year EFFECTIVE WARRANTY DATE, the user shall pay a prorata share of the then selling price
thereof based on the number of months elapsed from the EFFECTIVE WARRANTY DATE. There is no labor
compensation when boiler shells are pro-rated. Boiler shells which have not been properly maintained will
not be considered for proration; factory inspection may be necessary.
*Proof of properly installing and maintaining the filter system to the manufacturers specifications is mandatory to insure the EFFECTIVE WARRANTY. The factory reserves the right to request all records pertaining to
said claims against Market Forge Industries, Inc.
*Boiler shells should be descaled every 90-120 days, by an authorized service agent to insure efficiency
and prevent premature failure. There is a 90 day parts and labor warranty on the following: gaskets, steam
traps, air vents, knobs, dynaseal washers, rubber washers, cathodic descalers or anodes, sight glass. Any
parts used in conjunction with a boiler descaling (cleaning) are the responsibility of the owner/user regardless of time in use.
OPTIONAL SECOND YEAR WARRANTY
(Cannot be combined with Optional Boiler Shell Warranty) The cost of coverage on the optional second year
warranty will be 5% of list price for each additional (12) months, not to exceed an additional (24) months.
For each year of optional warranty purchased, the 5% of list price charge will be the net invoice amount.
All warranty service, labor or parts (shipped or replaced) must be performed by the appointed Market
Forge Industries authorized service agent for your area. Any repairs performed by non-authorized servicers
will void the warranty. We reserve the right to disallow any request for reimbursement of charges incurred
by others.
WITH RESPECT TO EQUIPMENT REQUIRING WATER CONNECTIONS, WATER SUPPLY SHOULD BE ANALYZED TO MAKE SURE HARDNESS IS BETWEEN 0.25 AND 2.0 GRAINS PER GALLON, PH LEVEL IS WITHIN
THE RANGE OF 7.0-8.5, AND TDS LEVEL 250 P.P.M., WATER WHICH FAILS TO MEET THESE STANDARDS
SHOULD BE TREATED TO COMPLY WITH THESE STANDARDS. EQUIPMENT FAILURE CAUSED BY INADEQUATE WATER QUALITY IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

FREE MECHANICAL START-UP
MECHANICAL START-UP to insure that the equipment has been installed and is operating properly is
provided FREE OF CHARGE on all equipment purchased. The authorized factory service agency will
provide this service once the equipment has been installed and hooked up. Call them to set up an appointment. Failure to have a free mechanical start-up performed within 30 days of installation could void
the limited one year warranty.
MANUFACTURER’S REPRESENTATIVE DEMONSTRATION
Market Forge Industries, Inc. offers a demonstration of their equipment by your local factory representative. After the equipment is properly hooked up to power and mechanical connections, call our representative to schedule a demonstration.
ASSOCIATION AND AGENCY APPROVALS
All gas and electric boilers and kettles are built in accordance with ASME Code, are National Board
Registered, and bear National Board Approved stampings. Also meet CSD-1 standard except steam coil
models. It is Market Forge Industries’ policy to build equipment that is design certified by the American
Gas Association, Canadian Gas Association, Underwriter’s Laboratories, Canadian Standards Association
and National Sanitation Foundation. However, our program of constant product improvement makes
it necessary for new or improved models to be submitted for testing by these agencies as they are
developed, and consequently not all models bear the appropriate agency or certification at all times.
Quotations are submitted on this basis. All orders accepted on this basis. ALTERATIONS TO MEET LOCAL
REQUIREMENTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF OTHERS.
