All of our courses offer practical work
experience that is valued by employers; many
are professionally accredited. Accreditations
include the Chartered Institute of
Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of
Credit Management (ICM), Institute of Legal
Executives (ILEX), Institute of Travel & Tourism
(ITT), Institute of Civil Engineering (ICE).
Many courses have a work placement option.
Many of our teaching staff have worked for

Pathways
International Foundation Programme
We offer a one year International Foundation Programme that can be
taken on a completion of Bangladesh Higher Secondary Certificate
(H.S.C) with a score below 3.5/5 GPA to include Maths in SSC 60% or
above.
English language requirement:
IELTS 5.0 overall with a minimum of 4.5 in speaking, listening, reading
and writing. An equivalent Secure English Language Test (SELT) will also
be accepted.
Successful completion of the International Foundation Diploma enables
progression onto an undergraduate course at the University of West
London.
Undergraduate entry
Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry
onto a University of West London undergraduate Bachelors degree:

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (From a minimum 24
points depending on course)
British/International A Levels (From a minimum 260 UCAS tariff
points depending on course)
Recognised Foundation course such as our International
Foundation Programme
HSC certificate with a GPA of 3.5/5 and Maths in SSC 60% or above.
Second and final year entry onto a Bachelors degree may be available
for those with a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the UK with a
pass profile.

Four to five year Honours degree with a First Class from a recognised
university in Bangladesh
Two year Honours + two year Masters degree with a First Class from
a recognised university in Bangladesh
Degree equivalent to a UK Bachelors degree (2.2 minimum)
Masters degree study (entry onto a Doctoral degree).
We also assess applications based on work experience.

Scholarships
The International Office provides International Ambassador Scholarships that are intended to recognise
and provide financial support for outstanding students. International Ambassadors act as active
representatives of the University of West London, supporting with events, visits and marketing.
Each year 100 International Ambassador scholarships are available worth up to £5000.
