ON-CAMPUS LIVING = COLLEGE SUCCESS
IMPORTANT DATES
Studies of students who live on campus (compared to those living off campus) have found that they are more
likely to be satisfied with their college experience, be more involved in academic and extracurricular activities,
complete their undergraduate degree, and pursue graduate studies. That’s why, at Cal State East Bay, we strive to
provide our students with the highest quality — and most enriching — on-campus residential living experience.
You’re likely to be both excited and anxious about living with a roommate for the first time. Whether you choose
to live with someone you know or let someone be placed with you, communication is key to a great roommate
relationship. The best way to get to know each other is to talk about your likes, dislikes, and attitudes. When you
move in, you’ll complete a roommate agreement with your Resident Assistant establishing expectations and
building a strong foundation for a great roommate experience.
HOUSING TOURS AVAILABLE:
