The normal credit load for one trimester in MMU is as follows: For Long Trimester (14 weeks of classes - June and October intakes), student are allowed to take a maximum of 21 credit hours, and a minimum of one subject which is of 2 credit hours or 3 credit hours. For Short Trimester (8 weeks of classes - March intake) students are allowed to register for maximum of 14 credit hours, and a minimum of one subject which is of 2 credit hours or 3 credit hours. Successful applicants will receive a “Visa Approval Letter (VAL)” (scanned version) from MMU. Students are required to apply for an Entry Visa at Malaysia Embassy/High Commission /Consulate located in their home country. As processing of a visa takes several weeks, it is highly advisable to apply for it immediately when you receive the document. Flight ticket should be purchased after Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is approved. We will not be responsible for any purchases with departure date before VAL is approved. When students pay Student Exchange Program fee for USD500 you are eligible of 6 months Student Visa and USD700 for 12 months Student Visa. Health insurance: Room Type and Fee With payment of Student Exchange Program fee, full coverage for international students is applicable. Accommodation information: Building Room Type and Fee Due to limited on-campus accommodation, exchange students are offered fully-furnished off-campus accommodation that costs between RM600-800 per month including utilities charges.
