Channel Guide
1. Press Guide button OR
2. Press Menu button. Make sure Guide icon is highlighted. Press OK.
When you have the Guide up on your screen you can move to different tabs such as all, subscribed, HD or favorites by pressing the guide
button. If you press OK on any one of the tabs such as favorites that will be the only channels you will be
able to scroll through.
If you want to change the channels you can scroll through, press guide again to change the tab. Press OK or the exit button to exit the guide.
Program Description
1. Press info. Press info twice to get more information on the program. To exit this screen press info again or press exit.
2. Press OK. Scroll down to more info press OK. Press OK to exit.
Channel Blocking
1. Press menu then scroll to settings press OK. Default password is 0 (zero).
2. To enable channel blocking arrow down to the channel blocking box.
3. When highlighted press OK this will put a check mark in the box.
4. Right arrow to edit press OK.
5. Save changes. Press OK. Settings successfully saved. Press OK. This will bring up all channels.
6. To block a channel arrow down then hit the OK button for each channel you want to block.
7. When finished right arrow until update button is highlighted. Press OK.
8. Save changes. Press OK. Settings successfully saved. Press OK.
9. To exit press the exit button.
Search
1. Press Menu.
2. Scroll down to the search button. Press OK.
3. Press OK for keypad. Type in what you want to search.
4. Scroll down to the done button. Press OK.
5. Scroll to Search Guide. Press OK. You will see the listings on the right.
6. If you see the listing you want, scroll to your selection.
7. Press OK to select the program you want.
8. If you don’t see the program you were looking for, press exit to view the channel you were on.
Reminder and Auto-tune
1. Go to the program on the guide for which you want reminded.
2. Press OK.
3. A screen will come up where you can:
a. Set reminder
b. Set auto-tune
c. Schedule event
d. Add/remove from favorites
e. More info
f. Cancel
4. Arrow down to your selection and press OK.
Cancel Reminder and Auto-tune
Follow above 3 steps.
4. Arrow down to cancel reminder or auto-tune. Press OK.
Parental Controls (There are different ways to set up parental controls)
1. Press Menu
2. Down or up arrow to Settings Press OK.
3. Default Password is 0 (zero). Press OK.
4. Scroll down to Parental Controls. Press OK. You will see a check mark in the box.
5. Right arrow to the Edit Button. Press OK.
6. Save changes? Press OK.
7. Settings successfully updated. Press OK. This should take you to the Users tab.
To set parental controls (you can turn parental controls on/off with password)
8. Arrow down and right arrow to Parental Controls. Press OK.
9. Arrow down to Movie Rating. Press OK. Right or left arrow to change rating.
10. Arrow down to TV rating. Press OK. Right or left arrow to change rating.
11. Arrow down to Unlock Timeout. Press OK to change the time you want the parental control to unlock. (After the set amount of time it will
automatically turn parental controls back on.)
12. Right arrow to the 2 boxes on the right and Press OK if you want to block them.

14. Arrow down and over to Submit. Press OK.
15. Settings Saved Successfully. Press OK.
To change parental controls.
Press Menu. Arrow to Parental Controls-Press OK to turn on/off or lock/unlock. You will have to enter password to turn parental controls
off/unlock. Default password is 0 (zero).
To set up different users
Follow steps 1-7 above; however, you will need to Press OK on the Enable Login on the
Preferences tab. You will be at the Users tab.
8. Press OK.
9. Arrow down to the Add button. Press OK.
10. Press OK. Arrow to letters or numbers for your new user and Press OK for each letter/number you want.
11. Arrow down to Done. Press OK.
12. Arrow down to password and type in your password from your remote (numbers only). Follow the same with confirm password box. Press
OK on each password box.
13. If you want to set an allowance amount arrow over and type in the number you want or leave blank for $0.
14. Arrow down to PIN #. The pin number is your default password which is 0 (zero). Press OK.
15. If you have Caller ID. Press OK on enable Caller ID.
16. Arrow down to continue and Press OK.
17. Continue by setting aprental controls. Press OK.
18. Follow steps 9-13 above.
19. Account created. Press OK.
To change users.
Press Menu. Go to Sign Out. Arrow to Name and Press OK. Arrow left or right to change. Arrow down to Enter password. Arrow down to Sign In
and Press OK.
Documents
Hardware Settings
1. Press Menu
2. Highlight Settings
3. Default Password is 0 (zero)
4. Down Arrow to Hardware Settings Button
5. Press OK
TV Configuration
You can change your TV configuration to:
4:3 Full screen
16:9 Letterbox
Pan-Scan
Display (Caution: DO NOT CHANGE TO 720P OR 1080I UNLESS YOU HAVE A HIGH DEFINITION TELEVISION)
You can change your display to:
720 x 480i HDMI
720 x 480p DVI-D
1280 x 720p
1920 x 1080i
Scroll using the arrows to what you want changed. Press OK. The TV will go through
some adjustments then press OK again. Press exit to exit this screen.
System Info-gives information about the set top box.
Audio
You can change your Audio Configuration to:
Dolby Digital
Stereo PCM
RF Modulator
You can change the channel your TV is on so you can view your programming. We recommend you leave it on Channel 4.

Video-Not used at this time.
PPV events-If you rent a Pay-Per-View Movie it will show here.
Pay Per Block-Not used at this time.
Sports Packages-Not used at this time.
Reminders-You can have a reminder on programs you want to watch later. This will show you what programs you have selected for reminder.
Messages-Press OK to view messages.
Caller ID-Press OK. Scroll up or down to view the caller ID. To exit press the exit button.
Packages
This tab shows what packages you are subscribed to.
1. Press Menu.
2. Down or up arrow to Settings. Press OK.
3. Default password is 0 (zero). Right arrow over to the Billing. Press OK.
