Master of Science in Engineering students discover China industrial
world
From the end of July more than 30 students coming from several Swiss Universities of Applied sciences and
Arts are attending the Kickoff module MSE organized by SUPSI in China.
The 3 weeks schedule has been organized thanks to knowledge gained in China as well as to the local
contacts and good relationships with different Chinese Universities. The program provides lectures and
company visits hold by Swiss academic staff and Chinese professors, company chairmen and officials from
the government.
The “Engineering Practice within Chinese and Swiss Culture” aim is to give the opportunity to engineers to
better know the industrial word in China, focusing on technology transfer and innovation engineering,
international supply chains and intercultural management. After an introduction in Lugano, the students are
spending 3 weeks in Shanghai, Guangdong and Beijing visiting several companies, universities and
research institutes.
