Application Instructions Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination The following are instructions to complete your application for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination. Your attention to detail is essential to avoid delays in processing and will expedite final review of your application. Failure to completely and properly fill out the application form will cause delays and may result in your inability to qualify for the FE examination. As per the FE Exam administration agreement between the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and Texas A&M University on behalf of Texas A&M University at Qatar, eligible candidates will complete and file their applications. Texas A&M at Qatar will provide assistance to candidates as needed to complete the application and prequalify applicants. Eligibility FE examination candidates registered through Texas A&M at Qatar will be limited to eligible current or former students of Texas A&M at Qatar: • Texas A&M at Qatar students who have attained senior status from its ABET accredited programs in engineering* or • Texas A&M at Qatar graduates from one of its ABET accredited programs in engineering Steps to Apply Applicants must complete Texas A&M at Qatar’s FE examination application form and submit it to the Office of Records at Texas A&M at Qatar. Applicants must create a profile on the NCEES website (https://account.ncees.org/) and pay the $250 fee to NCEES. Approved applicants will receive an email notification. The approved applicant will then need to register for a test date at https://account.ncees.org/. Qualified applicants must complete the online registration process in order to take the examination. Approximately two weeks prior to the exam date, applicants who have registered through the NCEES website will be able to log into the website and print a copy of their NCEES appointment confirmation letter to gain entrance to the exam site. Examinees will receive an email notification from NCEES with instructions to view their results in their MyNCEES account. All results are reported as pass or fail.
