Announcing the Retirement of the Cisco
Identity Services Engine (ISE) Authorized
Technology Provider (ATP) Program
Effective today, we are announcing the retirement of the Cisco® Identity
Services Engine (ISE) Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) Program.
Key Dates:



Announcement Date: October 6, 2015
Program Retirement Date: February 2, 2016
Program End Date: August 8, 2016.
The Cisco Identity Services Engine is a mainstream component of security
offerings integrated into Cisco professional certifications and partner
security sales enablement practices. Successful deployments of the Identity
Services Engine have been demonstrated, and we are confident that
partners with relevant specializations and certified personnel are able to
successfully support this technology with high customer satisfaction.
ATP programs are intended for emerging technologies that have unique
complexities requiring specialized skills and knowledge. At this time, the
Identity Services Engine has a growing number of partners with relevant
expertise. In addition, usability improvements to the software and market
maturity with over 9,000 customers means that the Identity Services Engine
is no longer an emerging technology that requires an ATP program.
As a result, we are retiring this ATP program and removing any restriction
on the sale of Identity Services Engine products, effective February 2,
2016.

the ISE ATP Program. In this model, you can expect to learn advanced
skills based on:

Four stages of development for the presales System Engineer role

Three stages of development for the Field Engineer role
This training not only helps your engineers understand the product and/or
solution but also gives you opportunities to build upon your services with
best practices, giving you a competitive advantage in selling the Cisco
