Lithium-ion Battery with USB Power Ports (KBS-L2BS)
1. Capable of powering the iPad*1 and the XPERIA*2, offering up to 1A high-power output*6 which is twice as high
compared to the former model*7
Through its built-in USB terminals, the KBS-L2BS is capable of supplying power to mobile phones, smartphones such as the
iPhone*1, portable audio players, portable game consoles, and various other mobile devices. Common mobile phone
chargers using dry-cell batteries may not be capable of effectively supplying power to some devices requiring large charging
current. The KBS-L2BS controls charging current to a device and offers output current of 1A which is twice as high compared
to the former model (KBC-L2AS), offering stable power to devices requiring large charging current, such as the iPad *1 and
XPERIA*2. In addition, an associated micro USB attachment makes this product compatible with devices that take in power
through a micro USB terminal, such as the XPERIA*2.
2. Equipped with 2 USB terminals, making it possible to power two devices at one time
The KBS-L2BS, equipped with two USB output terminals, is capable of simultaneously supplying power to two mobile
devices when power output is 500mA. When using one USB output terminal only with output power being 500mA, power can
be supplied for up to about 4 hours (about 2 hours when output power is 1A). When using two USB output terminals
simultaneously, about 2 hours of power supply is possible from each terminal.
3. Rechargeable through AC adapter or PC USB terminal
The KBS-L2BS may be recharged through the associated AC adapter or a USB terminal of a PC using an included USB
cable.
Handy Power Source with USB Power Port (KBS-D1BS)
1. Comes with the USB output cable and the micro USB attachment that enable easy USB power supply*8 to various
mobile devices
Through the USB output terminal, the KBS-D1BS is capable of easy power supply*8 to mobile phones, smartphones such as
the iPhone*1, portable audio players, portable game consoles, and various other mobile devices. The associated micro USB
attachment makes this product compatible with devices that take in power through a micro USB terminal, such as the
XPERIA*2.
2. Stylish, lightweight, stick-type, aluminum body that can easily fit in a pocket or bag
The main unit has a stick-type aluminum body, which is approximately 2 centimeters in diameter and weighs approximately
76 grams (including batteries). With its slim, lightweight, easy-to-carry design, the KBS-D1BS is user-friendly for daily
commuting, traveling and in various other circumstances.
3. Comes with 2 AA-size ‘eneloop’ rechargeable batteries*9. Battery replacement is easy.
The KBS-D1BS comes with 2 AA-size ‘eneloop’ batteries*9 rechargeable approximately 1,500 times*10. Compared to drycell batteries, the ‘eneloop’ is capable of providing large current more stably, enabling smooth power supply to mobile
devices. It is designed so that a user can easily replace the batteries.
Charging Adapters for Nintendo DSLite, DSi, DSi LL*3
1. Nintendo licensed Charging Adapters for Nintendo DS*3 series
The KBC-DS2AS and the KBC-DS3AS are Nintendo licensed products meeting Nintendo's safety and durability
requirements. The Nintendo DS series has unique charge input conditions different from the USB standard (5V/500mA). The
KBC-DS2AS and the KBC-DS3AS are each designed to be compatible with the Nintendo DSLite or DSi/DSi LL*3, in terms of
AC adapter voltage and current. As licensed products, they offer users a reliable power supply to the Nintendo DS series.
2. Stylish, lightweight, stick-type, aluminum body that can easily fit in a pocket or bag
The main unit has a stick-type aluminum body, which is approximately 2 centimeters in diameter and weighs approximately
94 grams (including batteries). With its slim, lightweight, easy-to-carry design, the KBC-DS2AS and the KBC-DS3AS are
user-friendly in various circumstances.
3. Comes with 2 AA-size ‘eneloop’ rechargeable batteries*11. Battery replacement is easy.
The KBC-DS2AS and the KBC-DS3AS come with 2 AA-size ‘eneloop’ batteries*11 rechargeable approximately 1,500
times*10. Compared to dry-cell batteries, the ‘eneloop’ is capable of providing large current more stably, enabling smooth
power supply to the Nintendo DSLite or DSi/DSi LL*3. It is designed so that a user can easily replace the batteries.
Outline and Background
‘eneloop’ originated from the concept of “looping energy”. Since the first release of ‘eneloop’ in November 2005, the product
has received high market appraisal for its cost-effective and environmentally friendly features. The batteries come precharged like a dry cell, and are economical and environmental as they are able to be recharged for repeated use as well as
fully recyclable at the end of its lifecycle. In total, over 130 million ‘eneloop’ battery cells have been shipped to more than 60
countries worldwide (as of the end of July, 2010).
In 2006, SANYO began developing the ‘eneloop universe’ products, by expanding the ‘eneloop’ concept with new products
such as the ‘eneloop solar charger’ and the rechargeable ‘eneloop kairo’ hand warmer. In 2007, SANYO began to develop
the ‘eneloop mobile booster’ series of products for use as supplemental power sources and emergency chargers for various
mobile devices. The series included the KBC-E1AS charger set equipped with a USB power port and powered by two AA-size
‘eneloop’ batteries, the KBC-L2AS and L3AS models with USB power ports powered by lithium-ion batteries, the ‘eneloop
stick booster (KBC-D1AS)’ a handy power source with a USB power port and the ‘eneloop music booster (KBC-9VS)’ for
Music Devices.
As products licensed by Nintendo, SANYO has actively been distributing contactless charger sets (N-WR01S and
N0WR03S) that enable users to easily recharge the Wii(R)*3 remote control without removing the remote jacket.
