When cured, the film acts as a protective, slip resistant layer that can then be easily peeled away without residue. Product is suitable for floors with narrow grout widths and/ or shallow grouts. x Product is not suitable for deep and/or large grout widths, or floor surfaces that have a large proportion of grout compared to tiles, such as mosaics and small tiled floors. x Floors with fragile grouts or fragile tiles are not suitable. This product may leave a cleaner appearance to the coated area after removal. Allow sufficient time for the area to fully dry. Test a 3cm diameter patch using a teaspoon of product in an inconspicuous area. Refer to Spot Check below. Allow to dry and peel coating. Recommended to apply overnight to allow sufficient drying time. Spot Check 1 2 Perform test patch a day prior to application by applying spoonful of coating in and around grout area. Peel film when fully dried and check for any signs of grout and surface damage. How to Use DIRECTIONS OF USE: STEP 1: Identify and Clean the area you want to make Slip Resistant. Mask the area to prevent overspill e.g. edges, drains. STEP 2: Invert bottle several times before use. Do not shake vigorously. Follow coating guide. Pour and spread evenly with a short nap mohair roller. Fill grout lines generously. STEP 3: Apply two or more coats and leave to dry. Allow approximately 2 hour drying time between coats. Ensure each coat is dry before applying the next. *First Coat Volume includes 100ml for roller absorption ( 230mm roller). Add 10-15% extra for first coat if there are wide or deep grout lines in the floor. Masking (Optional) 1 2 Mask boundary of area to prevent overspill with painter’s masking tape e.g. edges, drains. 3MTM 38mm ScotchBlue™ Edge-Lock™ Painters Tape is recommended. Apply firm pressure along the tape and into the grout area to ensure sufficient adhesion. Coating 1 2 Evenly coat the area by rolling lightly with a short nap mohair roller. Roll both directions for even distribution. Complete coating within 15 minute window. Page 2 3 Allow coating to dry for at least 2 hours before recoating. Drying time may vary depending on the ambient temperature and humidity. Use a stainless steel blade cutter to cut along the tape. NOTE: Perform a scratch test to ensure cutter does not scratch floor surface. Carefully remove masking tape. Peel tape slowly. 3 Film is ready for use. Allow 8 hours (or overnight) curing time to achieve water resistance. Maintenance Sweep coating with clean dust pan and brush. Mop area with warm soapy water if required. DO NOT use strong cleaning agents, such as bleach. For tough stains, consider using a bristle scrubber. Any damages on surfaces can be repaired by applying a top coat or cut out the area with a sharp blade and re-apply. Film Removal & Disposal 1 Lift edge of film from corner using a scraper. Start peeling back SLOWLY at 90 degrees to the surface. If the film breaks, repeat the process. 2 Sweep the area to clean off any debris. Cut the film into manageable pieces before disposal in general waste.
