 One credit of English with a C or better
 One credit of Algebra I or higher with a C or better

Cost Requirements
Upon acceptance into the program:
 $80.00 registration fee
 Dual enrollment may result in additional fees. Refer to Dual
Enrollment section of information sheet.
Dress code is reviewed annually to meet professional industry
standards. The official dress code requirements will be presented at
registration and orientation.
West-MEC provides uniform shirts.

Strong interest in career pathway
Familiar with computer terminology, operating systems, networks
Strong technical reading and study skills
The online text for this course is written at the college reading level.
Because of its technical vocabulary and sentence structure, students
may need to develop new reading strategies to ensure successful
comprehension.
